Or you just don't think LSU is worthy?

What do you mean? In 2011 LSU was our biggest game (twice).

The game we will have circled next year is A&M, because they beat us. LSU and Bama certainly had a few big-time big-implication games the last few seasons. Is that all it takes to be a rivalry? If so, then i guess Georgia was our rival this year. And like I said, we've had more of those types of games with UF than with LSU. Some LSU fans may feel a hatred toward us right now but that's all one-sided, there is no natural rivalry we have with them historically that's any greater than Ole Miss or Miss State.

Auburn and UT are our only natural rivals. If the criteria for our third rival was simply an abundance of big time games, then over the last 20 years Florida is a stronger candidate than LSU.

UF behind GT AND Auburn?

Yes.

I hate Tech way more than Florida and I've always considered Auburn to be a bigger rival in my lifetime.

Apparently you have no idea Tulane was once a very good football program. I grant you it is a long time ago, (for reference about twice as long as its been since UGA won a NC)

Team: LSU

Rivals: Bama, UF, and until this year I would say Arkansas but now I am saying A&M

I am a junior at LSU so I wasn't around during the Ole Miss golden years...

What's the deal with Illinois for Mizzou fans? Is it strictly geographic?

I figure LSU and Bama have been the 2 best teams in the West the [ast couple of years. All of our games have been close not including the national championship. AND you have Satan. How is this not a rivalry?

Like I said if just being the two best teams make you rivals, then yeah the last couple years we're rivals. But I guess that means in 08 and 09 and Florida were rivals. Same in the early 90s. And if the two best teams next year are us and A&M, does that mean we're rivals now?

How can it be a rivalry if it seemingly changes from year to year (or at least from say every five years to five years)

And the fact that we have Saban means absolutely nothing in terms of how we feel about yall. Haven't Florida and SCar been two of the best teams in the east? Doesn't SCar have Florida's old coach? By the same logic, they must be rivals, no?

LSU, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky (Basketball), Florida State, and Miami came Florida as rivals.

We so so so popular.

That's a much different scenario. Everyone knows Spurrier is still a Gator. Saban was a Tiger for what, 4 years?

Exactly. Spurrier was a Gator through and through, he won a Heisman at Florida. He came back and turned his alma mater into a juggernaut. Then he turned his back on yall after building your program to prominence for a decade. He was one of your own and he left. Saban is just some guy from the Midwest who was at LSU a few years and then left. He was never a lifelong LSU guy. If anyone should feel betrayal, it's Florida fans. Seems to me they have more right to feel anger or betrayal or whatever. They had a much deeper connection with the guy.

Does anyone else love that the Mizzu posters don't even try to pretend like they belong in the SEC by naming SEC schools? #Big12forlife

Sucks that no Gators even consider Auburn a rival anymore. They were always our oldest rivalry, and we have had plenty of great games between the schools.
This is what happened when we went to division format.
But, on the other hand, we now have a rivalry with Tennessee that wasn't there in the 80's. So it evens out.

Wouldn't be a problem if Auburn moved to the East. Swap with Mizzou.

We will never allow that. Better idea, swap Arkansas and Florida:

SEC South: LSU, A&M, Ole Miss, Miss State, Bama, Auburn, Florida

SEC North: UGA, SCar, UT, UK, Mizz, Vandy, Arkansas

Makes more sense geographically than what we have now, and rivalries can still be preserved.

Ambitious CFB HC's want to step up. Many times it doesn't work out. So they step back down. See Saban 2005-2006.
