1985 baseball- 50-15 finished 3rd in the CWS. A line drive that hit Gene Morgan in the ankle cost this team dearly and mostly likely the NC.
Team had 4 future MLB all stars on the roster. Clark, Palmeiro, Brantley & Thigpen.

I remember hearing about this team when hearing about Texas's 83 team. They gave us hell that year in regionals, and that was probably our greatest baseball team ever.

It's crazy some of the records you see from some teams back then. Kind of like being 50-15 and finishing third haha. There were some truly dominant clubs in that era.

2005 team. Would be upset by eventual national champ Texas in the Super regional after three very well played games. Rebs just couldn’t get the key hits after game one.

Single greatest super regional I have ever seen. Hands down. I, and most of the players from that team, consider that Ole Miss team the best one they played all year. They were stacked with big league talent.

The NCAA should be embarrassed for how poorly that tournament was seeded that year. Ole Miss had no business playing Texas as a "non-national seed" and Arkansas should've hosted instead of several of the teams they gave it to.

I don’t see how having The best team ever could break someone while you have a Covid/furlough* year. It was a damn good year for you. But not like 2019.

2019 caused a melt for you kids just as bad as we melted in 2011.
