I feel like you mean has done so little with so much.

All these resources..and it's been how long since their last conference championship?

That's pretty sad.

When I used the phrase "so much" I guess I was mainly referring to your amazing alumni base, which has given you an unlimited ability to write as many checks for whatever reason you want, facilities, coaches, etc... Texas may be the only program that can rival your alumni power. Your financial capabilities give you endless options, including the ability to pay an assistant coach head coach type money.

This is true, but it’s a new reality. We were a small college with very limited resources into the 1970s. Almost all our games against LSU were played away from College Station because we were too small to get a home and home with LSU. The school began growing very fast, but we were still a regional school, with resources far inferior to the elites, until the stadium rebuild and the move to the SEC.

And Jimbo ain't fixing it

If you can really see into the future you need to go get some lottery tickets so next time we try to poach a coach you can actually help keep him.

Who am I kidding, you probably already waste money on lottery tickets despite knowing shite.

Jimbo and his staff have to identify all the slackers that Sumlin signed during the winter program and send them packing. Getting to 8-4 in 2018 could be a tall order. A&M is Soft and has been for since Sumlin landed.

Serious answers: Texas, usc, uga (unfortunately...this year notwithstanding), notre Dame...maybe michigan. Clemson until a couple years ago, Florida State until Winston and since

I’ve always said that Georgia should be the best job in the SEC. That state is loaded with talent and their only in state competition is Tech. I know everyone tries to poach kids out of there but UGA has always had talent even when they had bad coaches. Ray Goff’s 92 team was loaded with talent. I know a lot people say the Florida job is the easiest to recruit to, but they have so much in state competition. I think Georgia should and will have more championships. What the hell was Vince Dooley doing all those years pre Hershel?

be glorious if they spend all this money on Jimbo, get Aranda, and still go 8-4 next year.

Jimbo has to change the culture, that's going to take more than one year. 7-5 or 8-4 for a couple of years is likely, as long as there is improved play I'm good with it.
