Maclin was well above average in the NFL. Maybe not elite, but definitely above average. He played 8 years (avg for a wide receiver is like 2.5). He had over 6000 yards receiving and 49 TDs (avg for a receiver is between 1000-2000 and 10-15). He was also a pro bowler.
For Mizzou - I'd go with Brad Smith. He is a legend for Mizzou fans, but it seems others may not remember him as much. First player in NCAA to pass for over 8000 yards and rush for over 4000 (4289 was at the time the rushing record for the QB position). He was THE piece that turned the program around under Gary Pinkel. His skillset didn't translate to NFL QB position though, and he was basically a swiss army knife used sparingly in rushing, receiving and returning kicks in the NFL.

I remember when there looked to be a real possibility that we would sign three 5 star running backs in the same class. Michael Dyer, Marcus Lattimore and Lache Seastrunk. We ended up getting Dyer and as a true freshman he went over 1,000 yards rushing and was the MVP of the National Championship game for us.
I've met and talked with Marcus Lattimore on a couple of occasions and he is without a doubt, one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Terrible injuries kept him from reaching his full potential but he doesn't allow the "what if's" to get him down. He's a standup guy who gives back and is truly changing some lives for the better.

That was a thing of beauty when Bell came around the edge and slammed Greg McElroy in the 2010 Iron Bowl. That little dude knocked McElroy's ginger arse the frick out!!! McElroy had been talking nonstop shite the entire 1st half, shooting the Auburn band double birds and even the ginger's goofy arse parents were dancing in the stands the 1st half. That shite stopped in the 2nd half though.
