Georgia could have scored more but decided to go conservative since it was raining. UT got lucky. It could have easily been 48-13 without Georgia breaking a sweat. UT has been exposed for the gimmick team they are. That hot shot QB - what a joke he was- is gone next season and I predict another season of sadness for Tennessee. UT fans better enjoy a bowl trip this year since they won’t see another for a long time

Why did Heupel call all of those stupid short passes and try to do long drives instead of taking more deep shots?"
There is some truth to this.
With about 6.5 minutes in the game, Heupel conceded the loss and went full blown Kentucky on UGA (Georgia fans know what this means. Florida did it in 2019 as well).
Instead of trying to conserve clock and get back into the game, they basically ran a 50/50 run/pass offense taking everything underneath until they couldn't any longer on 4th down.
It is as much a "save face" drive and a reason why the Statisticians use the term "garbage time".
Hell... on 4th down, Hendon runs out of bounds instead of throwing the ball into traffic (where they could get a completion or PI).
That isn't a team fighting for the full 60. It is a team hoping to fake a box score that can look good for a playoff committee.

Just an elite defense plus self inflicted mistakes and crowd induced errors. That’s football

Georgia always beats UT. What’s new about yet another humbling beatdown of the puke orange hillbillies? It’s just another game and another certain win for Georgia
Hey UT. Georgia is #1 and you ain’t. Now go sit down and shut up. People are beyond tired of hearing about your gimmicky program.
Learn a little bit about the history of the series, you bandwagon riding piece of shite.
That way you won't look quite like such a fricking idiot the next time you post.
No, Georgia doesn't always beat Tennessee. Hell, Georgia doesn't always beat anybody.

Where are seeing this? Your imagination is running wild.
Let me guess, you are going to cherry pick a few of the very few reasonable posts, and ignore that 95% are pure homer cluelessness.
There is a lesson in this post for you. Hint: it’s in bold

The weather didn't help UT's offense...but it was out of sync, even when the weather was ok.

Almost everyone has "a bad day' against our defense. But keep thinking it was your team who just had an off day rather than UGA making them look bad.
That's the point I was trying to make...that it wasn't the weather that was disrupting UT's offense...UGA was keeping them out of their rhythm. I never said "UT was just having an off day"...

Hooker was off track from the start and never could get on track.

and the defense had nothing to do with that....glad we are all being honest here
Please pull up the link where I said that the defense had nothing to do with it.
Hooker WAS off track, and couldn't get on track. Those are just statements of fact. Your own insecurities made you fill in the blanks to think it was a slight against Georgia's defense. I haven't said anything but positive things about how disruptive UGAs defense was.

If UGA had bot decided to play nice, the score is as likely to have been 56-13 as not.
UGA ran the ball exclusively from around the middle of the 3rd.
Anyone who watched that game, knows Tennessee was never in that game at all.
Georgia could pick their score.
Everyone outside of the state of Tenn saw the same thing, even the committee.
In all honesty, UT and Oregon should have to play each other before they are allowed to play GA again

This is actually a damn good idea for the sake of fairness. They need to earn the right to rematch

You could beat those hillbillies by 100 and they’d still be making excuses. They know NOTHING about the game of football.

Really seems to bother you that we talk after the game instead of before the game like UT fans.
Are you mad? because you seem mad.
"Make the bad men stop, mommy! They're being mean to us!"

fluke bad performance on offense
We sacked your QB 7 times. That's not an offensive fluke.
The offensive fluke was the TD you scored.

Heh, over 70 years ago, my father used similar excuses when his team lost, "The ball was wet". Some things never change.

Except in this case, the weather saved them on the scoreboard
