I'm not sure I care either way. Plenty of LSU fans have said and done horrible things. Plenty of other fans from other teams have made Katrina jokes. If you want to pretend like only AU fans said it be my guest -

100% agree. We have some obnoxious fans... and the other part really do embody TO ME the coolest kinds of fans and really are salt of the earth. But I can admit to crimson colored poetic waxing about my own folks and people i grew up with etc.
It's nice to see someone get ALL of this. It's easy for Auburn to get a lot of good guy points by being the underdog other big school in Alabama, just because people have a soft spot for the under dog.
Coincidentally, the LSU fans I feel the same about as you do ours. We may have a few MORE obnoxious fans, but YOUR obnoxious fans are muuuuuuch louder. The good part of LSU fans are cool as f'k.
By the way, there are a LOT of other things that Auburn has done/allowed the football team to get away with like the whole "Fear the Thumb" thing against Bama among many other craptastic things.

I love that we still influence people so much even in the worst of seasons. I almost don't understand it b/c when other teams are terrible I kind of just forget about them until it's our turn to play them. Yet we stay in the spotlight and minds of every single fan.

You act like it's a good thing your fellow fans have made THIS kind of impression on people.
It's like this.. ALL fan bases have a good bunch and a BAD bunch. The ones that get talked about the most are the bad ones, obviously. Some fan bases have a larger percentage of jerks. Take Auburn for example... y'all have a special kind of stink.
This thread was dedicated to appreciate the unique filth that only Auburn produces. So, in all reality your post was only to sort of put up a mental defense mechanism, or to misdirect the thread's sentiment to be a sort of damage control.
Trust me, either way it's futile.
