I live in Auburn and I'll just have to say 'frick this post'.
Auburn has some of the most gracious fans in the Conference. The town is very hospitable, and even though the student section can get insanely loud during the game, that's about as raucous as they will ever get.
Let's talk about Cam Newton if you want.
He was, and had he not been muddled behind Tim Tebow, could have been one of the greatest players in SEC history. Why people keep getting butthurt about what he and his dad probably did on the sideline is besides the point. DJ Fluker, Tyler Bray, and probably a lot more people around the SEC say hi.
As far as I am concerned, all players should receieve some type of compensation, somehow, someway.
My hate is reserved for two teams:
(1) Georgia fans. Not necessarily the team, the fans. They suck bad and are wildly obnoxious.
(2) Alabama fans. This state is ridiculously slanted Alabama for obvious reasons. And they act like Auburn can't have anything. Whenever they win, they approach Auburn fans at work like they just beat them, instead of the team they were playing.
When Auburn fans win, or when they won their one championship, Alabama fans acted like their trailers had just been collectively repossessed.
Auburn and LSU have played some of the tightest, close games the last 10+ years. It has made for an amazing rivalry.

Tuberville made a lot of enemies with opposing fans with his childish behavior. Cigars, holding up fingers to taunt Bama fans etc. I don't hate Auburn anymore since he left town. Now they are more of good nature d rival to me. Now I know their are some Updykes out there that take it too seriously but we've all got some of those.
