I agree I started taking it a little serious. What is funny is that an lsu fan started this thread and it turned into a back and forth between AU and UA fans, just shows which rivalry is the best

True that. While I'm arguing its not Alabama's school now, I'll turn right around on another forum and tell UAB fans that UAB IS the medical school for the University of Alabama and that they'll never be allowed independence and that they suck.

It's a little bit humorous that they derisively call it UAT, but the University of Alabama has never actually been called that.
Auburn, on the other hand has been:
East Alabama Male College
Alabama A&M
Alabama Polytechnic Institute (API won the 1957 NC, not Auburn)
then finally, Auburn University.
