I said 'it ain't even close' in terms of performances today. Not saying it'll be a miracle for Alabama to win. If Alabama wins impressively next week I'll have them at the top again since it's where they started and ultimately where I think they'll finish. Can't deny LSU's performance yesterday though.

Rankings based only on what we've seen:

1: LSU - played highest ranked team and won by double digits. Offense didn't "wow", but defense certainly did.
2: Bama - defense played incredible. starters gave up less than 30 yards of O. O slopped around too much, but there was a lot to be encouraged about.
3: Arky - didn't see the game, but they did what they were supposed to against a team like that.
4: MSU - Saw the game. Run defense is suspect (don't care to hear about Cox being out of the game - shouldn't have mattered against Memphis). O looked pretty good. Special teams needs work.
5: UF - Florida looked more like Florida than they did at any point last yr. That said, we need more of a body of work to know for sure.
6: USCe - I need to see more from the D and Garcia needs to start & play well. Could move up this list fast next week.
7: UT - Dooley will have UT as an 8 win team this year.
8: AU - on win only. Had they lost I would have them at 10. D missed Fairley in a major way. O took a long time to come around. Team will get better, but don't have much confidence that AU finishes with winning record in SEC play.
9: UGA - embarrassed selves. Got beat up front on both sides of the ball by a team with significantly less talent, but significantly more heart and better coaching. Could be a long season with loses to BSU, USCe, UT, UF & possibly one more.
10: Ole Miss - O is horrible. D not bad. Nutt sucks.
11: Kentucky - not much to say. get better.
12: Vandy - holdin' it down.

Florida should be anywhere from 4-6 on these lists, which they're. Good watching fellas.

LSU had 98 passing yards. Some of you need to chill. Alot of the Oregon turnovers that led to LSU points were unforced. Oregon's offense has been shut down by every defense worth a shite the last 3 years. Aub,OSU,Boise,LSU, etc. The defensive play was impressive, but it was nothing special. The specail teams play was outstanding though.

Based on the Eye ball test

1.Bama
2.Arky
3.LSU
4.UF/USC/MSU
7.UT
8.UGA
9.Aub
10.Vandy
11 Ole Miss
12.UK

98 passing yards on 22 attempts doesn't impress anyone with a brain sorry. Especially win UO had 8 and 9 men in the box all night.

The way LSU's offensive line was able to still get a push was pretty impressive. Oregon playing sloppy and turning the ball over had very little to do with the LSU defense.

overall UF looked better but Brantley throwing 2 INT against shitty competition should be a concern.

UT had first 2 WR(Hunter, Rogers) with 100 yds since 2007. After week 1, Bray has the highest QB rating # in the SEC, granted it was against a shitty competition. he was right on the money pretty much all game long though. pin point accuracy, very quick release, laser throw with very strong arm. also he made several impressive Sunday throws.
I'm glad everyone is writing UT off and I hope opposing coaching staffs do the same.

I thought UF played better than USC. one thing is for sure, the East is wide open this year between 4 teams.

I agree with most of this. If UT's front seven was just a little better they could possible win the East, but its not.

Offensively UT has everything in place to compete this year and they have an good secondary even without Janzen. D-line depth and youth at LBer will be the only thing holding them back.

You should watch our game when it comes up on the SEC digital network site. I watched most of the Bama game yesterday and will watch the rest today.

I think Missouri St might actually be WORSE than Kent St, but our defense was pretty good too. We held them to negative yards in the first half and until their final drive when we pulled the second stringers and started playing a lot of walk-ons and scout team guys we held them under 100 yards total offense.

Neither of our offensive lines looked all that great though. I knew our team's future would be entirely decided by our limitations at O line, but I thought they would set a HIGH point for you guys. Maybe it was just a cohesion thing and once it is ironed out they will play to their talent level.
