I realize it was only Kent State, but it might as well have been a shutout (if it weren't for Philip Sims). And giving up 90 yards total is impressive no matter who you're playing.

The Bama defense is gonna be good this year. Like, 2009 or better good.

If Cliff Harris had played in that game, you can automatically take away 7 (and perhaps even 14) points that LSU scored. Oregon is the most mediocre top-5 team I've seen in years, and if you think differently after watching, there's simply no convincing you. Moreover, beating a team that had 4 unforced turnovers and 100 yards of penalties does not make you an auto title winner.

Get that through your brain.

We dominated the game. I didn't say how. And a poorly executing UO is still better than 90% of the teams playing. Not to mention the distractions that we've had over the last several weeks, including the loss of Jefferson, Dwor, and Shepherd (yes, all three matter).

But your points aren't completely invalid. We'll have to earn it every week. I've convinced that we can.

Well, it's true. And you know that.

I'm not saying LSU wasn't impressive or that Oregon is no good at all. I'm just saying that some of the LSU fans on here need to slow down before betting their entire fortune on a national championship.

Too early for this shite. LSU looked good on defense last night. Alabama has some things to get worked out on offense. Arkansas looked solid, but was expected with their opponent.

I think we can all agree AU will not be near as good as last year and Kentucky might blow harder than Jenna Jameson(sp)in her prime.

In a few more weeks teams will seperate themselves and we will get a real idea of how everyone sits.

Dude every turn over was forced. What are you talking about please explain the difference so I don't look bad when talking football with the boys.
You ever think that OU played like shizt is because LSU made them look like that?
Oh what was Kent St ranked again. OU being ranked to highly or not I'm sure they were a couple of spots higher than Kent St. Why do yall even play a team like that when Bama has a coach as great as Saban.

You scared of something.

Did you really just say that if Cliff Harris played it would have been worth fourteen points? Really?

I agree with this, I always say you could take the same teams, keep the same personnel and play 5 seasons and you would be lucky for some team to win it twice. I think you should be happy if you are in that top 3-4 that is truly considered in any given year. This year it is OK,Bama,LSU, and maybe even still Oregon. Does Bama have a team as good as last years, IMO no but they did and still do have the talent to when it all. I think the same can be said for LSU the last couple years.

Dude, any LSU fan that thinks that win last night insures us a trip to NO is an idiot and knows little to nothing about SEC football. Bottom line..... I don't give two shits about how well we played...... we got the win. In other words, you can come on here every week and make excuses about why the other team lost to us as long as we win. Because in the end, style points don't count for shite in the BCS era.

Hey dingus, did you watch the game? 4 turnovers were caused by our pressure up front, and the ST mistakes by Oregon were caused by Wing launching rockets. He has been our best kept secret all off season. We knew, but other than his arrest and coutry of origin, no one else knew a thing about him.

Not even cliff Harris could have done shite with that hang time of 4.8 seconds. Count that out real quick. Next time say congrats and end it, or take that 37 ACT and shove it up your arse with all the other BS.

I said it would have taken away at least seven points from LSU and possibly 14.

You honestly think Harris would have fumbled that ball and given up an LSU touchdown? Really? The best punt returner in the country?

While some of us are, don't group us all into that category. LSU was BY FAR the most impressive team this week, not just in the SEC but the country. A lot of teams beat up on shite opponents and looked good doing it, but that tells us nothing. LSU did a pretty good number on a team that may be a bit overrated but is still a shite load better than Kent St, Missouri St, or...cough...cough...Utah St.

1. LSU

2/3. Alabama/Arkansas
Their D looked a bit better and our O looked better. But neither has really shown much.

4. MSU
5. Florida
6. USCe with Garcia at QB

7-13.everybody else (including USCe with Shaw at QB =)

Bama has an opportunity this week to shake off the rust and beat a decent team. We are still playing cream puffs, so by this time next week there shouldn't be a tie.
