Ole Miss did this to themselves.
LSU fans have been realistic about their team this year. They have actually exceeded most fans' expectations getting to 7-2. Most think they have a slim chance (but a chance nonetheless) against Alabama.
Ole Miss fans celebrated a berth into the playoffs and an unofficial changing of the guard when they beat Alabama.
LSU fans didn't run off with the goal posts when they beat Ole Miss. They won't do it if they beat Alabama either.
