Yea it seems like it will take a lot for the secondary to be great but maybe they can find a way to just be adequate and hope the front 7 are great. Long way to go

I have said for years now that I will be happy if we just play fundamentally good football. This team so far has delivered and for the first time in years I am looking forward to the rest of the season

You are hoping they do so it makes this game look like a good win for old piss. The current perception of this "win" isn't very good. Honestly, remove a couple dumb penalties and they win by 10 plus.

Throwing the football he is. He can’t throw at all. If you get down 14 against anyone.. you’re done. No LSU fan in your glory hole program looks at him and says..: yep.. he’s a good passer.

Once I saw that Louisville receiver wide open in the first half, where the QB threw a duck, it made me realize that a seasoned QB would have blistered OM.
But my main take away is that OM is going to have to stay relatively healthy at key positions to have a good year. IE: the backup to the RT was piss poor.
Attrition over the course of a nine game SEC schedule will decide which SEC teams make a run this season.

Only because you didn't need to be. If there is one thing we know about Lane Kiffin, is he get draw up some killer pass plays. Had it been a closer game, LSU would have been passing more. Kiffin (just a guess) didn't mind showing the run game, but didn't want to show the passing game.

Let’s not take too much away from us completely dismantling of Clemson’s OL. They were arse last year despite having a first round draft pick and only got worse.
That being said, having a healthy weeks and Dougherty plus the athleticism showed last night by the entire DL, we could be really good.

As an Ole Miss fan would you take a 9-3 season and run with it right now? I would,
