I agree. I said this program needed a Sweet Sixteen in a very bad way. We couldn't get that monkey off our back with the Nolan issues being under his shadow for so long. We closed the book on that today.

Why ya'll melting? I simply made an observation that his celebration was exuberant for a coach of a 3 seed going to the Sweet 16.

That but also teams that slow down play tend to have an easier job in the tournament than teams that speed it up.

True, but Muss knew this was going to be a battle. They showed a clip earlier today of him talking to the team about how this was going to be a street fight and that to win it would take them being mentally tough.
From the outside to casual fans it looks like no big deal but to the coaches and players they expected a really tough game.

Tech is good because they are well coached and so more people would bet on them. Arkansas was still unproven before this game and haven't been to the Sweet Sixteen since 1996. If I would bet then Tech would be my pick.
This game could have gone either way and while Arkansas is a more well rounded team, it isn't enough to win the game when you are coaching against Beard.
