I would just like to point out that Tennessee's lack of discipline was a big factor in their loss SR loss to Notre Dame and Neyland wouldn't have appreciated that at all.

Also I would like to ask you a question. Exactly which performance in 2021 can you point to that is giving you confidence in your football team that you are going to be so good this season. Overall you went 7-6 and 4-4 in the SEC and lost your bowl game.

You guys might have a great season, but can you point me to what you are looking at that leads you to believe this?

On paper, we don't match up well enough with Bama to win imo but could easily handle anyone else from the west.

Tennessee is 2-24 in their last 26 games vs the SEC West.

Heupel wasn't supposed to win more than 4 games last year. Finished with a top 7 offense despite the Jeremy Pruitt fiasco and losing most our starters to the portal. We barely were able to even field a full scholarship team last year.

You really don't think he will at least win three more games year year two of his tenure, returning a Heisman candidate QB, 1000 yard plus WR and productive RB combo?

If our secondary is at least serviceable, we are a lock for 10 wins. I'm calling for 11.

45-20. I hope this year's SC game is somewhat competitive.

Apparently you are unaware that Huepel took over a UCF team that went undefeated the year before he was hired, and then proceed to decline every year after that until Tennessee hired him away.

2018: 12-1
2019: 10-3
2020: 6-4

If that doesn't say this is a coach that can build a program, I don't know what does.

Florida and LSU both have losing cultures right now and finished the year as dumpster fires. We get both early in their rebuilds.

Neither will have a team identity by then and both their defenses will be out of position against us on most plays all game long. We will destroy both of them and it won't even be close at all.

Hasn't Tennessee beaten Florida like one time in 20 years? It doesn't matter how bad or good UF is, you will find a way to lose to them.

Are you really going to use UCF as a measuring stick? Obviously no coach can pull in top or even good talent there.

No one including me has any clue how good a Heupel led offense and squad full of elite talent can do.

He is already killing it with our 2023 class and word on the recruiting vine is we are in serious contention for a program record number of additional 5 stars.

We just need a top 50 level defense to be good and top 30 to be really freakin good.

Our pass rush will definitely be much improved. Third downs absolutely killed us in year one.

Auburn won the SEC basketball championship. Tennessee won the SEC tournament. One is more of an accomplishment and is won over the course of a season. The other is a lesser accomplishment achieved over a few days.

UCF went 14-0 the year before Huepel was hired.

They declined every year under Heupel.

They improved to 9-4 the year after Huepel left, and Gus is bringing in quite a bit of talent.
