He's good, potentially great, but #3? That seems a bit crazy.

SF assures themselves of any QB not named Lawrence or Wilson. Could be Mac....or not. My guess is they may not know as of this post.

PS- as a UGA fan I'm keenly aware that a pre-requisite for gaudy Yards After Catch #'s are to first, put the ball where Yards After Catch are possible....a sliding catch on a slant route counts as 4 yards. A great throw on the #'s can go for 70 yards and a TD

I believe at this stage Mac Jones is more developed and ready to play than Lance, remember Mac sat back to understand the nuances of becoming a good QB,Lance didn't have that luxury

Worst trade of all time

I'm impressed with the Dolphins. They traded away their 3 rd pick and then turned around and traded up and got the 6th pick. So in other words, they will still get the player they want at 6(probably Chase), and gained a future 1st and a future 3rd round pick. They have essentially turned their former offensive tackle(Laremey Tunstill) into 4 first round picks and third round pick.

I just learned that tommorrow both Bama and tOSU are having a kind of pro day. Anyway, Fields will be throwing Columbus and Jones will be throwing in T-Town. SF head coach and GM will be in T-Town, not Columbus. So I could be wrong. It may be Jones afterall.

Doubtful. Kid throws a great deep ball and is excellent at processing information. He's not a plus level athlete without football acumen. Only knock on him is lack of mobility

Damn, you must either be a big Mac Jones fan or a huge 49er fan.

quote:

Henry is the first player in NFL history with four career games with at least 200 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.

Henry has seven career games with at least 170 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, tied with Pro Football Hall of Famer ERIC DICKERSON (seven games) for the third-most such games in NFL history. Only Pro Football Hall of Famers LADAINIAN TOMLINSON (11 games) and JIM BROWN (nine) have more.

Henry, who rushed for 212 yards and two touchdowns in Week 6 and rushed for 178 yards and three touchdowns in Week 12, is the fifth player with three games of 175-or-more rushing yards and two-or-more rushing touchdowns within a single season in NFL history, joining JAMAL LEWIS (2003), JOE MORRIS (1986), Pro Football Hall of Famer LADAINIAN TOMLINSON (2006) and RICKY WILLIAMS (2002).

Henry has recorded at least 100 rushing yards in nine consecutive road games, the second-longest streak in NFL history. Only Pro Football Hall of Famer BARRY SANDERS (10 consecutive games from 1996-97) has a longer streak.

I will admit, I am late to the Mac Jones party but I think he has a very good chance to be the best QB drafted in this draft.... as long as he doesn't go to the Jets.

I was impressed as the year went on last year and I will also admit to being little jaded after what he did to my Tigers in Death Valley last year but the more I have read about him, I am very impressed. Good luck to the young man.

I’ve read lots of that stuff today and yesterday... I don’t know why they would have traded up to get Mac when he would have probably been available at 12...??? Unless they really believe the Panthers wanted him at 8.

the Falcons will probably draft Justin Fields to keep the Utes of the fanbase happy.

But then he'd have to come back to Georgia where he was victimized.

Where there is smoke there is fire.

Btw to those who don’t know Chris Simms is one of Kyle Shanahan’s best friends. He’s got inside info.

Lastly, Shanahan’s best success was with Matt Ryan. Mac is compared to Matty Ice more than anyone else.
