Kinda insecure to tattle on a coach Kirby "owns" according to your fans right?

Kinda convenient that UGA routinely gets any transfer they want approved with the quickness, while UF is forced to wait right?

I agree. Who snitched? That's the question. No proof who it was except for Mullen's paranoia.

Kind of crazy that Mullen doesn't have playoff appearances at a powerhouse like Florida as well.

Really a good point. I mean this is his 4th year, right? he has all his own players. This should be his year. Florida fans told us that the third year was the big year and if Kirby was going to do anything that should be the year. I'm sure their goal posts have moved now that Mullen hasn't done anything in 3 years.

Meh. Seems like officials had trouble keeping the peace before games last year. Too many fights and scuffles. There’s also a new requiring assistant coaches to be out with players at all time and officials are on the field sooner. Group all three new rules together and it’s all about keeping order before games.

Lies. His ego LOVES the fact that someone noticed anything he was doing sufficiently enough to name a rule after him... he even refers to it by name twice.

Kind of make the sport look tacky and unprofessional. Wear your jersey in warm ups.
It's how it been for a 100 years.

No, they were already rules. They were clarified so the refs couldn't frick the shite up again.
You're welcome.

So all the Florida fans hate the rule and all the Georgia fans are fine with it. Big shocker.
The fact that the Gators fans let an Auburn fan rustle our britches is very amateur. The season is almost upon us and our posting skills are nowhere near ready for prime time. This could be a long season if we don't shape up with quickness. Georgia don't go breaking your arm patting yourself on the back, you look like shite ITT as well and have a way to go if you expect to compete OTR this season.
LSU and Bama are rounding into shape nicely and Arkansas fans have come out of their Bert induced half decade hibernation and are posting with a vengeance.
SEC East needs to step it up fellas!

He's the one that named the rule after himself.
Out of curiosity...does anybody know if any other teams warmed up with no numbers?
I read one article that said that Mullen started the practice while at MState. Apparently it was raining and they went out in generic shirts then came inside and changed into dry uniforms. The players liked it so he kept it as a tradition, then brought it to Florida.
It was a smart move actually. If you have never played wet jerseys can be very uncomfortable and they get very heavy really quick.

I could care less actually. Can't imagine why anybody would have a problem with wearing numbers.
Honestly, why are Florida fans upset about it? I mean, it doesn't mean you have to wear your game jerseys. Any jersey with the players number visible is okay,
I suspect the Georgia fan is right about it being more of a reaction to pregame scuffles. If two players decide to go at it on the field the referees can easily identify who it is and if they eject the player can make sure the ejected player does not try to enter the game "accidentally". It may not have been aimed at Florida at all.

Wristbands? Really Florida? Do others do this too?

Not gonna let you drag me into this buddy.
I will just say that Mullen spends more time on the offense and Kirby spends more time on the defense. Offensive coaches like to hide what they are doing (including who is playing) to have the element of surprise, and defensive coaches are constantly trying to figure out what their opponent's offense is gong to do so they can make adjustments. I can see why Mullen is against it and Kirby is probably for it.
Although in the article, I see where the columnist states that it makes it harder for the press who are covering the game to identify who is playing and who may not be playing. As far as I am concerned, the press can eat a bag of dicks.
Dammit, I let you drag me in.

Not meant to be that way, but I can also see how it could start the crap all over again.

I'll try not to go into it any further. I was just curious about it from a Florida fans perspective.
