He'd be an upgrade if he can manage more than 4 TDs in SEC play

He did put points on Bama, but that game was an outlier. He burns time outs like cheap cigarettes.

Didn't he own BAMA in the Sugar Bowl a few years ago?

I don't know how he is as a play caller, but he was at OU for a while as QB coach, and they had some decent ones in that time, so I can't think he's too terrible at that aspect of the job.

ETA: If he can coach a QB and manage to not get the two commitments he's charge of to decommit, he's better than Cam Cameron.

That's one more than Schottenheimer, so yes.

How you do you think they made it to the Sugar Bowl in the first place?

You seem scared.

I actually like this hire because before he was the OC at OU he was the QB's coach there and developed two of the best QB's in OU history. Maybe you've heard of Sam Bradford or Landry Jones? Can't wait to see what he'll do with Lock. Wow I hate saying good things about OU.

yea Mizzou had some decent QB's at one time, but the QB coach was still a clueless mop head.

Dude, Mizzou's offense put up some serious stats back then. Daniel was a Heisman candidate for Christ's sake.

He was the CO-OC at Oklahoma, so he only gets half the blame and half the credit.

You know who the other guy was? Norvell who also got fired.
