wouldn't Moffan have noticed a terrible defensive scheme at some point last year? you know, prior to y'all's bowl game?
Yeah. He did and Collins called the bowl game and the defense did a better job.

I don't know how Russell was not benched during that game.

I'm not sure what point you're making, but the answer to your question is that we'd have won the national championship. Again.
On the right track!

I may have been a little harsh with my accessment. With that said though, I do think that y'all will lose the game. But I will actually be rooting for you guys to win.

Our defense just didn't have a shot last year because of scheme imo. But Darkhorse can take any stat and make it look awesome!!!! He really believes himself too.
Oh, no. I have yet to make my over pointSSS.
I wanted to point out the fact that of the 13 teams they faced, 10 of them were horrible defenses.
They were not horrible defense because OSU played them once(cdawg). They were horrible because for 13 games... they sucked!
UK would have looked great against those defenses! No offense UK fans.

Because Mullen didnt want to take a chance on Tyler transferring out if it looked like Dakota had overtaken him. We couldnt afford to lose a QB- and a Sr that looks like he could be losing his job is not likely to hang around and sit
Now if Russell struggles- you will see a quicker hook

Russell wasn't transferring anywhere
Posted on 8/22/13 at 10:30 am to CoonassBulldog
Yeah...every one of his picks was so costly. You could make a case that he cost us up to 28 points in that game. He basically threw 2 pick sixes and his other two picks were in the NW red zone. Ugh.

probably not- but we couldnt afford to take that chance. Nobody wants Dakota in there more than me- but I understand the reasoning behind it.
Mullen told Brewster- "the 2013 season is more important than a damn bowl game"

But if your saying that he is actually delusional enough to think they will pull the upset, then I am at a loss for words.
Again.... They lost to the 119, 118th ranked defenses and more.
They put up those numbers, which includes 700 yards and 84 points(savannah st), against teams whose defenses were consistently horrible.
The teams they lost to, even with the horrible defenses, controlled the clock. Which is point #2.
The 2nd reason MSU wins is that we return a very effective run game. Every aspect of it. They, on the other hand, lost 4 people on the DL. All were DEs. I'm not talking about a guy who never saw the field. Starters and the rotational guys.
Control the we will.

To any fan of the SEC, tell me how your team would have done against the 119th, 118th, 113th, 108th, 94th, 86th, 77th, 67th, 64th, and a non ranked defense.
To any fan of the SEC, tell me how your defense would've fared against the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 10th, 41st, 61st, 79th, 89th, and 113th ranked passing offenses. Seeing that Texas A&M was ranked 14th and they

Texas A&M would have been far and away the best team in the Big 12 last year.

Face it, Russell is one of those qbs who is just fine until he gets hit. Then he proceeds to shart himself.

The Big 3 in the west and the big 3 in the east would have a field day, next question?

You are high. You can talk about the OSU Defense ranking all you want. That's a two way street my friend.

So you are going to shred LSU's,Bama's,UF's,and UGA's defense?
I think I am not the high one..

How about one worse!!! How about a team that faced the following passing offenses:
120th IN THE FCS!!
115th
114th
112th
102nd
95th
88th
80th
76th
75th
21st
Ahhhh so that's how Georgia got their #8 national ranked pass defense. You only play one team in the top HALF of the country.

LSU and Bama would be good contests against our offense. Georgia and Florida? Please, they would get ran out of the stadium before halftime.
