Our defense just didn't have a shot last year because of scheme imo

I agree with that. But like I stated, until I see something different, I'll just have to have hope in a can of swag.

OSU was picked by the Big 12 writers (other than the coaches, they have more in depth knowledge about each and every team in the conference) to win the conference.

Writers always get it right dont they?

Last year's SEC West according to the writers:

West
Team Points
1. LSU (139) 1449
2. Alabama (72) 1379
3. Arkansas (6) 1093
4. Auburn (4) 827
5. Texas A&M 653
6. Mississippi State 554
7. Ole Miss (1) 261

You're about to enter your head coach's 5th season and the Dawgs are picked to finish last or 6th place in the SECw by pretty much everyone.

We were picked 6th last year too- yet we finished higher, as Mullen has typically done.

OSU was picked to win the Big XII because they're the only ones returning a QB with any sucess. Oklahoma, TCU, Baylor, West Virginia, Texas Tech, and Kansas State all lost their starting QB's(as well as many other important pieces). Kansas and Iowa State suck, and Texas's QB sucked too.

Oklahoma State proved last year they can win with whatever QB they throw out there(and return 2 of those QB's) and will likely win 6-8 conference games on schedule alone. Oklahoma State is the most proven team in the Big XII by far, which is why they're picked to win it, but anyone with a clue knows the conference as a whole is wide open.

If by biggest upset you actually mean will bring the biggest amount of shame to the conference in week 1, then yeah you are probably right.

He obviously didn't mean that. I don't think you know how words work.

Most Alabama fans only know how to communicate through hobo scrawlings and slang.

They throw beer cans in fires at Talladega for spiritual guidance very similar to the chicken bone voodoo in NOLA that was recently replaced with corn dog sticks and tears of shame..

I wonder how much more success can a coach have at MSU this early?

I give props to Mullen for what he has been able to accomplish.

The program has turned around form the darker days.

I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't naive enough to think that MSU actually stood a chance to keep the game close, much less win it. But if your saying that he is actually delusional enough to think they will pull the upset, then I am at a loss for words.

Probably not very difficult.
