The weather is always terrible and the only people who come to those games are the students, their parents, the ridiculously hardcore fans, and every god damn state fan. The Grove was as dead as a doornail for the past few years during the State game. It seems as if way more people go to the Egg Bowl when its played in Starkville than in Oxford, since most fans would rather just watch us whip State's arse from the comfort of their living room, or in the very least be pissed off in their living room if we are fricking up during the game.

We care if we lose to them, but last time that loss worked out very well in our favor since I doubt they would have fired the gorilla if he won that game. That loss was the gateway to many victories.

Depends on what your definition of "JACKSON" is. If you consider the Lakeland Drive/Reservior/Ridgeland/Madison area its not too bad, but everywhere else is a cess pool of drugs,crime and violence.

WTF are you talking about? Tulane has has beaten LSU 4 times since 1947.
MS State is 9-9 against Ole Miss in the last 18 years, 8-8 in the last 16, 3-6 since 2000 and 2-2 in their last 4 games.

The amazing arrogance of Ole Miss going into the season is amazing. You lost to Vandy and Wake last year and beat LSU for the first time in 6 years.
