Are you gonna Blame the next 2 or 3 straight losing seasons on Stansbury?
We'd be better off if we would have kept him.

How?
We weren't going to make the NCAAt the next 2 years with him.

I'm all for giving Ray a shot, I have never said he was a bad hire. If every bastard on that team leaves it just means we will have a new squad that is untainted by the shite that was Stansbury's squad.

Who said this guy couldn't recruit? Or coach for that matter.... he has only been here 2 weeks Bundy chill out.
He hasn't signed his first recruiting class or coached a game yet. Reserve judgement.
Everything I've seen personally and heard about has been positive. Hard practices mean he is set on developing and coaching players. That is a good thing (and something neither croom nor Coach O did). If some of our returning players don't want to work hard, then they need to leave because laziness won't win championships.

I will take a bad year or two if Ray can build a solid program with HIS recruits that are talented and want to work hard.
It's the Merlin war cry. We aren't worried about good players, we just want hard working diamonds!

If Stans stayed we have Hood, Gray, and possibly Pollard. We would have been competitive.
Next year we may have our worst season in over 20 years we will be lucky to win 3 SEC games.

He'll work his arse off this year, I bet he'll recruit well

Do y'all think Hood will be granted a full release to transfer anywhere or will he not be allowed to transfer to SEC schools?

Who knows man. Don't give a shite where the quitter wants to go.

Stan's time was up.
We have moved on. Get behind Ray or cheer for someone else.

Come on Bundy...you know it had to be done. This is just the sudden pain of ripping the bandaid off. Stans was never going to accomplish anything. Ray could be even worse, but at least there's a chance he does something.

Marcello tweeted that Hood wanted to transfer 2 and a half months ago so maybe he did have something on Stansbury or the program
I'd take him in a heartbeat if he's granted a full release.

Word is he's going to either Louisville or Florida State.

I'll always cheer for Mississippi State but this year may be the roughest season in my lifetime.

Simple as this, Stansbury lost control of his team and allowed players to do whatever they want. For example: Renardo's fat arse skipped workout on a consistent basis and never had to pay for it. State made the right move by firing Stans. The Rick Ray hire will more than likely be a bust now that our best returning player is transferring. Ray doesn't stand a chance. On the recruiting end, Pollard COULD be attracted to the idea of being THE ONLY star player on the team next year. That is a big "what if" though. Rick Ray will definitely sell the hell out of that idea to Pollard, believe that!
