Dang that sucks.

If it's gonna happen, I'd rather be rained out on the road

Not normally scared of Aggie, especially in football.

since this is a Thursday-Saturday series, is playing on Sunday not an option? this would have major implications in the SEC west race if all 3 games aren't played. A&M has already lost one game to weather, am I correct?

That series needs to get played and they are running out of time with Sat looking like two 7 inning games.

Can’t play on sunday correct. Really sucks. Ole miss or lsu will jump at least 2 games on us and their isn’t anything we can do.

Yep, that's the "3 day rule." And it's a retarded rule at that. Because the series was scheduled to begin on Thursday, it's deemed as having started on Thursday regardless of whether the game was actually played. SEC requires all series to be completed within a 3-day span beginning on the day the series "started."

Nah, they had a game against Missouri end in a tie due to Sunday curfew rules (which are also dumb)

So will the games be made up on a different date if the games could decide an SEC championship winner or have NCAA host/national seed implications?

Surely you don’t get fricked out of a championship due to weather?

nope

in theory, you can. There have been multiple seasons where some teams didn't play all 30 games on their SEC schedule. It's really impossible to reschedule SEC games, and with the rule that all 3 games have to be completed in a three day block of time from when the series begins, that rule doesn't provide for games being postponed down the road. Even the NCAA can, in theory, crown a regional champion if games can't be played by the drop dead date provided in the rules (believe it's by the end of the monday following the regional). Believe the rule is if games can't be played in the regional due to weather then the highest remaining seed is crowned the winner of the regional, or something like that

So say Vandy finished 20-10 and State-A&M both are 19-8.

Vandy wins the SEC and we couldnt play our series to see who actually wins the SEC? That’s fricked up
