So you would know...lol

We were godawful at the start of the year. No one has ever said otherwise.

Since Kirby has been employed as a head coach 3 coaches out of 100+ have won a title.

So unless your team has one of those 3, the whole "but they didn't win a title!!!!" Argument is truly weak as frick

What's funny is you talk about Kirby more than if he had won in 2017.

Just a matter of time anyway. Could get Mullen fired this year or next. Pruitt in 2 to 3 years. His buddy Muschamp could get canned during the season.

Its funny how much people rag on Kirby when the fact is bama and lsu are the ones ones that have his number. Everyone else has lost regularly to him, many of which have been in beat down fashion.

This is the weirdest part. Each of the rivals UGA owns under Kirby handle it differently but still try and talk trash.

Florida fans come up with these strange explanations and odd view points for why Mullen is actually far superior to the coach he is 0-3 against

Auburn fans do the 1980 routine or just switch to celebrating Bama victories over UGA (that’s probably the saddest part. I’d kill myself before dickriding Tech if they could beat Auburn and we couldn’t or some similar scenario)

Tennessee fans pretend like they just don’t care about the three straight blowouts because hey, they threw a Hail Mary to beat UGA in 2016. That’s easily worth dealing with another 7 or 8 uncompetitive losses right?

Amazing,so "Kirby Sucks!" If he doesn't win a NC?

So are you gonna hold Mullen to the same standard win he fails to
win a NC or even SECCG in year four?

Hell,Kirby won a SECC in year two
and Mullen won't even win a division in year three.

Straws, I asked this before but I’ll try again. If Georgia beats Florida again will you still feel Mullen is by far a better coach than Smart? If the answer is yes, is there any number of wins head to head where you’d change your mind?

If 4-0 in Kirby’s favor isn’t enough, would 5-0, 6-0, 37-0 do it? I’m genuinely curious of your analysis on this

Well done kirby, on all fronts, well done.

For what it's worth - not much - I think Smart is doing a good job there. Georgia has always had great talent. He's doing more with it.

It's a high pressure job. It should be. Georgia is one of the top tier football programs in the country. Such is life in the SEC - there are half a dozen schools that are either top tier now, or were pretty recently and trying like Hell to get back.

I mean, if you're consistently in the top four for the team talent composite I feel like you should be able to win one.

LSU won one, Alabama did, too.

Clemson won one with less talent.

Really makes you think.

Same can be said for schools in Florida, Miami, UF, and FSU are in or have struggled of late.

I mean, Mullen was at MSST for a long time and that school is very difficult to coach at -- it's not like it's flooded with money, educational promises, NFL connections, loaded with talent, prestige, (in fact, they rank second to last or dead last in every category).

So that one I don't really think is too important.

The first game at Florida, Mullen took over a dogshit team with no leadership, no soul and little to no talent. Again, I give him a mulligan.

Last year we started to see McElwain's recruits filtered out and we lost by a single possession, so this entire time we've been going in the right direction.

This year? Close is fine, winning is better, and as long as we don't get blown out I'm fine with it.

Kind of like how Kirby had two shots at Orgeron and got blown out both times. How many times does Kirby need to get blown out before you don't consider him an elite coach?

The current LSU obsession with uga is made more weird because they werent obsessed with uga when they didn’t own us.

Nice dodge. So Mullen gets a continual pass because he can't recruit? But Kirby sucks because he can recruit?

Straws logic at its finest.Do we really need to go over all your Kirby and UGA predictions that weren't close to being correct?

No it doesn't.How many year did Saban coach before his 1st NC? Coach O? Dani? Bobby Bowden?

So a close loss for Mullen this year and you still won’t be able to say Kirby is better got it. Is there literally any number of years you won’t do the moral victory thing? It’s becoming a yearly tradition for you from trash Smart after Florida loses to him again. Surely you’ve noticed this by now right?

Regarding Orgeron vs. Smart, I can’t make a case that Kirby is a better coach than Orgeron. See it isn’t hard to deal with reality on reality’s terms. I believe you can eventually do the same for Mullen. I’m just baffled that Dan falling to 0-4 vs. Kirby won’t get you there. A part of me wonders if there is any number that could make it possible.

Either way, enjoy another moral victory. I do think Mullen will keep it close so in the end you and I will both be satisfied.
