quote:Zeier was not underrated. At the time he was considered one of the best QB's in the nation.
Eric Zeier was on some shite arse Georgia teams after the 92 season because Ray Goff is a dumbass and wouldnt hand the ball to Terrell Davis.
quote:overrated if anything.

Yet nobody ever talks about him. Not even Auburn.

David Greene is the correct answer. Jason Campbell sucked dick for all but 1 season and he's shite in the NFL.

I miss Herb Tyler. We used to beat him like a rented mule
Yea, Herb only beat Ole Miss 38-9 in 1995 and 39-7 in 1996. Ole Miss really had their way with Tyler.

in 2002 JC's passer rating was 150.
in 2003 JC's rating 130
in 2004 JC's rating went to 180, he had the 2nd highest passer rating in college football. If JC had Petrino or Borges for the 2003 season he'd be considered a top QB for the SEC.
In 2004 on 3rd down JC was money in the bank. What is strange is that Brandon Cox got worse as time went on, as a pass rating. I will say his will to win was amazing.

Came in after the "winningest college QB ever" left UGA and only led them to an SEC Championship.
Not to mention he didn't even fit UGA's system.

Will always have my utmost respect. LSU's DL just crushed Auburn's OL in '05-'07. Cox was beaten to a pulp in all 3 games and just bounced up after every play and kept going. Guy might not be loaded with talent, but he has as much "guts" as any SEC player ever has.
I agree. I was very critical of Brandon and felt Kodi would show Auburn could develop a QB but Brandon's pure grit and determination was amazing. He had a nervous disorder and played QB...in the SEC and won. Everytime I see him I offer to buy him whatever beverage he wants.
