Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Bertman not exactly go out of his way to keep Saban?

Saban had roots in the NFL (Oilers secondary coach, Browns DC), and the Dolphins are one of the better NFL franchises. It was the natural step forward.
And when he was unhappy, he went to the program that threw the house at him. Kudos to Bama for ponying up.
But most LSU fans are obsessed.

Well, I guess it depends on how you look at it. LSU fans are obsessed with Saban at Bama, knowing he is a better coach than we have now. Arkansas' obsession with Nutt is the opposite of LSU's.

I would want Nick Saban as my coach. He's the best coach in the country. No shame in obsessing over him.
