Ole Miss going from thinking this was going to be their biggest night ever in the history of their program to Hugh Freeze having to hide from reporters in the janitors closet during the draft will always be the most memorable night. There will never be a trainwreck at the draft that can top it.

Just to clarify this thread.....

...the most memorable NFL draft night for Mississippi State fans was a night that saw 3 Ole Miss players get taken in the 1st round.

I know Jones still thinks it was worth it to cheat.. he seems to think that it isn't possible for Ole Miss to win without cheating. But what's your view on this? You think Ole Miss has to cheat to win also?

Ole Miss thinks beating Alabama twice started the NCAA investigation. LaJeremy Tunsil started the NCAA investigation

Google "Most memorable NFL Draft" and an article with Tunsil listed pops up.

Don't down-sell what a shiteshow the 2016 NFL Draft was for CHF and Ole Miss. Tunsil loses millions. Nkemdiche goes from the #1 player in the country to the 29th pick, again losing millions.

It wasn't just MSU fans laughing at y'all

So you're saying that Ole Miss did, in fact, have 3 first round draft picks that year?

Also when was Robert predicted to go #1?

Nope. I reminded that he was the #1 player in the country, at one time

This is where he tries to go back and say something like "no I meant he was the number 1 recruit out of high school please ignore the fact that I had just narrowed the contextual timeline to that of 2016 NFL Draft."

See?

In that one second LaJeremy made more money than your past, present, and future family will ever attain. Truly a monumental night.

Congrats to you for somehow being a part of that????

Fletcher Cox signed a $103M contract, highest ever for non-QB player. Does that somehow make me richer than you? I'm confused. Did I miss something?

Full disclosiure: I never saw any of the shenanigans. Was in Tuscaloosa watching MSU and Bama play a cold, crappy baseball game

Yep. And he ended up being a first round draft pick.

Can't say it was a bad investment

Didn't one of the Nkemdiche brothers jump out of an hotel window while listening to R. Kelly's " I believe I can fly"?

Apparently being the number 1 recruit out of high school means it's a failure to be any less than the #1 overall pick.
