For Arkansas, I think it's probably Darren McFadden or Brandon Burlsworth. Both are often held up as examples of players we think exemplify the Arkansas tradition, each in his own way.
McFadden was an elite player who could have gotten caught up in the recruiting process and gone out of state, but he was all Arkansas from the start. He had an incredible career and represented the university well.
Burlsworth was completely unknown and was a walk-on, but went on to become an elite offensive linemen. As great a player as he was, he was an even better person off the field.
It's also only natural that two of our most beloved players are an RB and an OL, since those are historically the two most important positions to Arkansas's program. Petrino's tenure was an aberration in that respect, although it's hard to argue with the results.

This seems like a lot of effort just for a State flame.

Can't believe I haven't seen a single mention of Derrick Thomas. He's my favorite.

Corliss Williamson has to be near the top of any Arkansas list.

For LSU, I would say that Kevin Faulk, Josh Reed, Patrick Peterson, Glen Dorsey and Rohan Davey are probably the most universally loved ex-Tigers.
For very young people.
Tommy Hodson, Casanova, and Cannon for the older guys.
My dad loves him some Jeff Wickersham.

For Auburn, its the Heisman winners. Sullivan, Jackson and Newton, but Terry Beasley is right in that mix.
Craig will be in this mix too when we're talking about this in 10-15 years. Hell, he's already in it for the younger crowd.

For tennessee, it has to be Jim Bob Cooter.
