Kentucky hoops laps the field hard to cast them as baggarts with the track record to back up their claims of superiority

Now that the ACC has thrown out geographical orientation out the window with the addition of Pitt, they should pursue UK. Perfect fit and it would be awesome to see UK play Duke and UNC on a regular basis.

We are not leaving the money gravy train.

We already play UNC every year.
Plus as Mike said, we would never leave for a variety of reasons and the SEC basketball coaches would never let it happen. It would basically ruin the other SEC basketball programs other than Florida.

It's okay. We're awesome.

I'll say at least we don't claim Helms Titles and all that jazz. If we claimed those and NIT Championships (when it was still the big tournament) we'd have 11 I think.

Mississippi State when ranked in the Top 25 is pretty damned insufferable.

For once, I agree with you.

They were pretty bad at the beginning of this season with all of the grindin shite.

Mizzou is pretty arrogant for a team not even ranked number one and with no real accomplishments to speak of...

Definitely not LSU in baseball or Alabama in football. LSU has something like seven national championships in the last 20 years in baseball and Alabama has the most national championships ever. Their fans have earned the right to be arrogant.

The grinders claim they would have made Andrew Luck look like Jordan Jefferson

And ACC would never pursue UK. Kentucky doesn't fit the ACC's academic profile, isn't on the East coast, doesn't bring a big market and has nothing in common with the rest of the ACC except for a love of college basketball. Kentucky is actually a much better fit with the SEC except for their weird affection for basketball.

I agree, they are on the same level as Bammers.

I agree. As do just about all other UK fans

I agree with this. UGA when in the Top Ten.

Kentucky is in such an odd place geographically and culturally. Geographically, they're right where three conferences converge. Their in the SEC, yet they care more about basketball ala the ACC or big eats. When they were good in football under bryant, they got a great many kids from the traditional big 10 hunting grounds (ohio, pennsylvania coal fields etc.) They perhaps have as much in common with southern indiana and ohio as they do with the sec states.
Oh, and this Gem from the Simpsons
George Washington (to Lisa) We had quitters in the revolution. We called them Kentuckians!"
Just ribbing ya a little with that one, but still a very different place

Very true, I just hate the sidewalk Bama fans who think they are better than me because they are Bama fans.

no their fans haven't earned shite and great accomplisments and arrogance don't always go hand in hand. Great example is Florida in basketball, I don't find them particularly arrogant. Arkansas, come to think of it, believes basketball was invented by them when they are on top.
If UGA or Tenn Or LSU were suddenly ranked #1 in CBB I don't think it would be insufferable. Same for UK in football.
