My wife and I had season tickets in 2008 at Reser. Seats right behind the OSU band in the end zone. Lots of fun that year -- especially that Thursday night win over USC. Then came the pistol whipping in the Civil War and things haven't been the same in Corvallis since. Still remember what a great win over USC was though. Bear Bryant would've been very proud of Riley for the way his team won the game with lots of ground pounding and terrific goal line defense.
I liked the old Pac 10 schedule where you played every team every year. This new schedule leaves a lot to be desired. But I guess Beaver fans should be very happy to not play USC this year.

I've had the displeasure of seeing all of those bands in person with the exception of OU and for me it is USCw hands down. Sitting right across the isle from Tommy Trojan and getting arse raped on national TV in 100 degree weather may have clouded my opinion somewhat but those frickers seriously got on my damn nerves.

Sadly no.
But I'm kinda glad I didn't. Real nerve wracking game. If not for the voodoo hex we put on their kicker, we should have lost.
That kicker went on to set several records at OSU, including most consecutive PATs.
But that 2004 game along with the back to back baseball titles made a Beaver believer out of me. Mike Riley and Pat Casey are class acts.

Texas is annoying but at least they have a few notes to it and change up the pace. OU is just the exact same thing over and over and over exemplified by the knowledge that the whole song is "Boomer Sooner". FSU is right there though, same stupid chant repeated.

Yeah man, Brer Tiger set me straight on this issue. Somehow after all these years I never put it together that that was the first down jingle. Clearly I have watched a bunch of LSU games besides Bama the last few years!

Of the ones I've seen, I'd probably say Rocky Top. Though I'm kinda proud that we make this list and are not a national power I can only imagine how annoying we'd be to other fans if we had a stadium the size of USC/FSU/UF/OU's

I vote Tennessee. They play that Rocky Top almost nonstop with mikes in front of the band and these huge speakers. It was truly annoying. Amazingly they played it when their offense was on the field just before the snap!
Tigers shut that down quite a bit by the 4th qarter last year though

Ok...heres the deal:
1) Free Shoes Univ and that chant crap...homicidal urges start to overcome me after the third time.
2) OU Boomer Sooner ...I mean are they that freaking dense that they have to repeat it over and over and over? Ive met a few okies and let tell you...fat drunk & stupid is only half the picture...mix in the women folk with no shoes and unwashed hair and you have a fine pair for breeding.
3) Snotty Flop is the most annoying of the SEC schools...bar none. They invented this parody while making moonshine no doubt and the hillbillies dont understand why its ranked only a step better than self castration in pain tolerance.

I can see how Tennessee would get old fast. State's from the OP seems to be sad, just sad. The cowbells afterward got old in only a few seconds.
