But y'all don't. I mean, let's face it. There are probably several other years that LSU and Georgia could claim, but for whatever reason choose not to.

It's weird -- we do, but we don't

Open our game program guides they hand out at the stadium, they do recgonize 1908 as a championship team. But it doesn't go further than that for whatever reason. And no doubt both programs could

Well, that's interesting. I looked the team up and they went 10-0, which is very good. The only thing I doubt about games played from the 1800's through the 1920 or 30's is there simply was not a whole lot of teams playing then.

That said, if LSU as an institution decided to claim 1908, I doubt I would argue against that.

I've said this many times, and because of turnover on the board will repeat it again....I was born in Baton Rouge and spent my first 6 years there. Then I went back as an adult for 3 1/2 more years. I was raised an LSU fan, and my brother is still a rabid fan. I have nothing personal against LSU and some of my all time favorite players played at LSU.

I do have to admit that some of the fans on this board get old and tiresome, but so do some of the Georgia fans.

We all get tired of each other no doubt. It's always enjoyable when there is a thread that everyones comes together in (like poking fun at Texas, Clemson, or Ohio State...)

You spent more time in BR than I did. Weird to think about and admit honestly

I don't remember much about the first 6 years, obviously. I do remember that my parents were good friends with Georgia Rice and my brothers and I called him Big George and climbed all over him. If you are not familiar with George, look him up. An all time great at LSU.

poor little baby, it's not LSU's fault that your BaseBall program sucks. enjoy your cream puff football schedule. still not sure what QB you have. so don't expect too much this year.

Beating a team 24-4, when it doesn’t really matter, only to get drubbed 18-4 when it really matters. That wins the award for the most embarrassing. Jay Johnson played Florida like a fiddle.

You know what else is embarrassing while we’re at it, is a legendary coach losing to a first year coach that had 30 something scholarship players when he took the job.

More embarrassing for you:

Every time you post it’s all LSU like a closet LSU fan who got kicked out the club

Every time you pee sitting down like a pussy.

The LSU frat boy who tea bagged you to start this weird hatred for LSU.

Getting blown out in game 2 does not matter as long as you win 2 out of 3 games.

What would be embarrassing is say you were playing a 4 seed (13-16 seed for you basketball fans) and allowed 19 runs in a game 2 of the finals followed by a 6-1 loss in game 3. Winner take all game for the title. One run. Now that there would be embarrassing. Heck, that team might never return to the College World Series.
