re: Last time I checked there's 5 offensive lineman

The left tackle spot is the most important for QB pass protection. That’s what made his bad performance so glaring.
One and done Super Bowl fantasy TE

I can play either Hunter Henry or AJ Barner.

This resulted in bad play calling and a bad oline. Add to that his injury, the guy was playing behind the eight ball most of the season.

Gut it. 80%-90% rev to football 10%-20% to men’s BB. The sports that make money. Get money. When baseball makes money they can join in.
So you’re saying it’s ok to be a shitty program as long as you make money. What a f$&@ up way to look at it.

Has a good arm. That’s it. No feet, doesn’t step up in pocket or feel pressure, throws off back foot while retreating. He digressed over last year. Injury was a crutch, an excuse, and probably fake or slighter than said.
Doesn’t Sam Darnold have the same injury. He looked pretty good vin the NFC Championship game.

This might be the worst quarterback class in NFL history.
Easily. Simpson, the 2nd best prospect, Chamblis the 3rd best, Nuss the fourth best. There were classes years ago that these 3 would be lucky to be in the top ten much less the top 4.
re: Seahawks open -4.5 vs Patriots

Can’t argue that the Patriots have had the easiest route to the Superbowl. Played a Texans team at home that had a very mediocre offensive missing its best offensive weapon/wr. Then played a Denver team with a backup qb that had not played this year.

Not as dumb as Will Wade using his wife’s credit card to pay recruits.
LSU football coaches are chasing an offensive lineman with one year eligibility left around the country to offer him 6 million and you still got a problem with Will Wade. What a clown world.

FWIW, Tennessee apportioned their rev share similarly to the way LSU did. They even took money that was earmarked for Landon Mack and gave it to Women's Basketball.
And then their coach left.
Pay attention Verge.

Rankings should solely be based on who signs with you, just like high school recruiting rankings.

He's such a great coach LOL

Yeah it’s basically a pro league now. So it needs to be run like a pro league. Commissioner, rules, salary cap, etc. What we have now has become stupid.
It’s worse than a pro league. No contracts, no commitment, no consequences. Never thought I’d see the day where I would rather the NFL over college football. Pre portal/NIL I would rarely watch any NFL game other than the Saints.
College needs NFL type structure
Posted by da prophet on 1/5/26 at 6:25 pm
Enforceable contracts that provide a commitment to the team. Multiply year for most players. This is an absolute nightmare for coaches/teams. The whole team can leave every year. This is a true clown show. You need some consistency with contracts. Think of the Saints with the rookie QB Shough. If the Saints were a college team he would probably be gone after showing great late season improvement.

Compare this Indiana team to the pre portal/NIL Indiana teams. Night and day. Beats defending natty champ Ohio State for the Big 10, then proceeds to destroy Alabama in the playoff game. They were a big 10 doormat pre portal/NIL.

Players should 100% get paid considering the money they are generating for the universities. The, essentially, unlimited transfer portal is dumb though and really fricks everything up.
I agree, many fans think it's players getting paid that's the problem, is not. The unlimited portal creates a no comittment, no consequences situation that's essentially worse than the NFL

To many? I guess you don’t watch basketball or baseball that both have 64!
FCS football has 24. NFL has 14 in only a 32 team league. Hate to break it to you but FBS football has been the outlier.
The case to go to 16
Posted by da prophet on 12/31/25 at 9:59 pm
1. No teams get byes
2. more room for good deserving P4 teams to get in if the CFP remains intent on guaranteeing G6 teams.
If it were up to me, I’d go to 24 and do away with all the lesser bowls, use the major bowls in the playoff system. Either you play in the postseason for something or you sit home.
