To the people who say "Bama will just fix it through the portal" What has Kalen shown you that gives you the impression that he's the second coming of Lane Kiffin? LSU had to spend 4 million on that prized Tackle from Colorado. Y'all got that kinda cash to drop to right the ship when the last bit of Saban talent leaves? Is Bama somehow hiding a few billionaire boosters in their back pocket for December? Brian Smith (host of the locked on portal show) Mentioned that they're struggling in this landscape, and insiders close to the program said they don't have they don't have the money right now. Believe it..... (Don't) believe it..... But that would explain the low balling highschool recruits and falling behind. This isn't just some recruiting "strategy" it's the reality of where Alabama sits on the disposable NIL income food chain.

Do y’all just pretend that DeBoer hasn’t signed three consecutive top five classes prior to this cycle? That maybe, possibly, the goal is now to keep that roster intact?

did you guys pretend that PGA tour champion Freeze didn't sign two straight top 7 classes before he decided that he would focus on golfing full time before the season in 2025? leaving us in the 50s in recruiting making the same excuses just last summer? LSU is signing a smaller class AND focused on the portal post season...... Why aren't they just completely letting their highschool recruiting go to shite? Wake up

Coach going into his 3rd season with disappointing results that could lead to him being fired if the season doesn't shake out positively? Now the coach who once lit it up in recruiting is struggling to sign players or make adjustments to his philosophy fast enough to prevent a ship from sinking? Not the (same) but the similarities do have to alarm you All we wanted Freeze to do was go 8-5 and he'd be crowned a God. If Kalen goes 8-4 he'll be sent to the negative zone lol

Both coaches are failing to meet expectations after signing top classes. That is the ONLY comparison. I brought up The Gold jacket winner because last summer AUBURN was rated 50th in recruiting because OUR coach got lazy going into a make or break season. Several fanbases, including Bama began warning us (based off the recruiting) that the wheels were (COMPLETELY) falling off and I dismissed it as rival talk. I know the situation isn't the same..... one guy inherited a team full of 5 stars, the other inherited Harsin players.

God this shite is so exhausting.
