ANd I like Ms St fans... generally speaking

I hope you're right. I'd love to keep JoMo and have him become MSU's all-time winning coach

He may not be the man. But there is a massive amount of data that firing a coach too soon creates a hole.

Ms St is in a hole and a rebuild year no matter what some what to say.

You don't say a team replacing 9 starters on defense is not in a rebuild. And we all know that.

You have a great class right now, and if you don't see improvement next year, there should be enough grounds to go a different direction.

I guess being innovative and trying to figure out what works with your roster on hand is out of the question. It’s his offense or no offense, frick winning games is what you’re telling me.

No one has denied this is a rebuild year.

Nope. Already posted. WAY more talent at WR than you.

Nice try

OM averaged 169 yards passing in those games. That WR talent is really making all the difference.

Moorhead is "upgrading" everything, but MSU is playing like shite and losing games left and right.

Makes sense.

No more than Mullen did... and yes. It's a rebuild year.

You tell me. What is false in the post?

I'll concede that nothing false there , but would also add

MSU started the Auburn game receiving a touchback and got a delay of game penalty before running the first play.

They also started the Bama game by being offsides on the opening kickoff.

These are signs of a team that simply does not show up ready to play.

0% of that Mullen is accountable for. 100% of that Moorhead is accountable for.

Is ANY of that false?

Wrong. Mitchell is our leading receiver.

LOL! Seriously.. keep up. we were talking about the first year of replcing Mullen's wrs.

LINK

Which is why you are quoting this:

has way more than anybody last year

Mullen’s teams won 10, 9, 6, 9 his last 4 years and this is all his fault? NFL players left everywhere but Moorhead is running this bitch in the ground.

13 yards is way more to you? It's hard to know what you are referencing when you are using present and past tense in the same sentence like a fricking idiot.

Goalposts - moved. Good job.

So, if Mitchell led the team in the first year and is third on the team in his second year, are you defeating your own claim that Moorhead is doing a good job of developing him? It sounds like he's regressing to me.

It is in keeping the off balance enough.

Regardless, it's on the top recruiting site for you to look at.

Nope.... that's all true, and shouldn't happen in my opinion.

But know who you are talking to. We have the more of that crap happening than anybody else at bama. Luckily we have the talent to over come that.

Look up 2017 vs 2018.

I dont think you had a wr with more than 260 yards. How much did Guidry have in 2018?

While we are on the subject, how many yards does the top wr at ole miss have? 1000???

Guidry, and every WR that Moorhead has brought in, are useless because he can’t get them the ball, and they all suck at run blocking. The man can’t scheme against competent defenses.

Well I'm pretty much done with the topic and shown Phil Steele, 247 etc all saying it's a rebuild.

quote:

lost more than 50 percent of his recorded tackles and offensive yardage from a year ago.

Those are facts.. as reported by Steele and 247.

More facts for you on run blocking... You are ranked 23rd in rushing and the #1 RB in the SEC.

Yep, he squandered the 2018 season. That team was loaded with NFL players

Except for he didn't.

He had the 112th passing game passed on to him. From that 112th passing team, he lost the NFL (aka only bright spot) TE and the top 3 producing receivers and 2 others (that transferred out and one couldn't even break into the rotation at East Tn St).. lost a NFL OLman..

It left your team worse than 1 dimensional. Have a QB and a decent corp of WRs and you beat UF and what, 2 more? LSU and Iowa? Was 50% or less in each of those games.

UF- 42% with TD dropped pass
LSU- 33% in a 19-3 game FOUR(4) Ints
Iowa- 43% in a 5 point game. 2 INTs

To say that Mullen left Moorhead a decent offense just is not factual.

Moorhead is a good recruiter. I think he is a good coach.

I think Mississippi State is a bad fit for him.

He's Mississippi State's version of Oregron. Wasn't ready to be an SEC head coach. 12 years later, he's got the No. 1 team in the nation and is about to win the national championship with a Heisman QB.

Do you remember his tenure at Ole Miss? That's Moorhead. I told someone today if he ends up at Rutgers I wouldn't be surprised if he had them winning in 2 years and competing in 4.
