2000 vs. Oklahoma.

1st and goal from the Oklahoma 8 down 4 with 2 minutes to go.

270 lb back Ja'Mar Toombs had, earlier that quarter, run for a 19 yard TD with 3 Oklahoma defenders on his back on 4th and 1.

4 straight plays, 4 straight passes without Toombs even in the formation as a decoy. VINTAGE Slocum

Was that the game that Dan Fouts literally spent 45 seconds repeating "THAT'S A BAD CALL" over and over and over? ?

That be it.

Of the four championship losses, 2013 stings the worst. Tre Mason still hasn’t stopped running.

Pros: Super Bowl 2002. Rams win that one if it goes to OT.

Back in 2003 the Aggies were playing Oklahoma, the Aggies were keeping the offense vanilla and keeping the score close although Oklahoma had a very slight lead going into the 4th, the Aggies were poised to pounce. The Aggies held the Sooners scoreless in the 4th but just fell short of overtaking them to hand them their second defeat from A&M in a row. It was sweet revenge for the Sooners because the Aggies had prevented the Sooners from winning the National championship the year before

Heartbreaking indeed
