I expect a lot of Auburn opponents to respond.

For State, it has to be the 1998 SEC Championship and the Kevin Prentiss punt return.

Setup: A defensive slugfest - State led 7-0 early and then fell behind 10-7 by the half. No one scored in the third quarter and it had been a punt contest. With under 9:00 left in the game, Kevin Prentiss returns a punt for a TD and gives State a 4th quarter lead in the SEC Championship Game. Tee Martin and Peerless Price connect late to win it.

2017 SEC Championship. I assumed the game would be closer, but didn't expect to get kicked in the nuts like we did.

Georgia’s is obviously easy.

The Clemson chick-Fil-a bowl is probably one of the worse ones but really anything in the Les Miles era is dampened by the fact that you really started to just expect eventual collapses.

I was getting ready to celebrate a national championship when UGA sacked Tua for a 16 yard loss on the first play of their possession in overtime.

2018 NC being the obvious but I’ll throw out 2012 SECCG as well.

Alec Ogletree blocked that kick and returned it for a TD and it might be the only time in my life I actually let myself believe we were going to win it all.

I won’t ever make that mistake again, you bastards.

IIRC, that would have sent Ole Miss to Atlanta, right? If so - that's a contender for second place on this list.

The Fifth Down. And then Colorado didn't score either after the gift. I was there.

I'm sure if we won that game we would've lost to State but yes losing that game put bama back in the drivers seat for the west title since we had the tie breaker. Worst part about it was we stopped them again on the goal line 2 point conversion but there was a flag or something that gave them another chance.

Alabama that same season was wayyyyy worse. Alabama in 2014 and 2016 were worse too. Ole Miss in 2013 and 1997 were pretty disheartening. The entire 1998 season

2010 Iron Bowl.

Bama was absolutely destroying Auburn, up 24-7 at the half and should have been up 42-0 at the half.

The Ingram fumble at the 20, that rolled 20 yards into the back of the end zone.

The Richardson dropped TD pass when he was wide open and it hit him in the hands, Bama settles for a field goal.

The McElroy fumble at the 8, that just sat on the field for like 5 minutes with several Bama players around and not being able to see it.

The 1st Auburn TD, were the ball is thrown in triple coverage and all Barron had to do is lift his arm and he would have intercepted it, but couldn't becase of a injury.

McElroy throws for around 315 1st half yards and then only throws for 30 the 2nd half. Saban tried to protect the lead instead of continuing to attack the weak Auburn secondary.

McElroy getting knocked out of the game with a injury and not being on the field for Bama's final drive.

Auburn got every damn bounce that game and still should have lost.

Cooper's 99-yard TD vs Auburn in 2013.

When Alabama was in the red zone vs A&M in 2012 at the end of the game.
