Big 10 is wayyyyy ahead of everyone else. Pennsylvania produces the most D1 wrestlers and Penn St gets the pick of the litter. Along with Sanderson as a coach they are insane. Then Iowa is well Iowa. Vig 12 is next best in wrestling but Mizzou is a distant 3rd if they were Big 10 if not a spot or 2 lower.

Schools that used to wrestle in the SEC were:

Auburn
Alabama
Florida
Georgia
Kentucky
LSU
Tennessee

Add in Oklahoma and Missouri amd boom SEC Wrestling is back. If the teams all add girls Title IX would not be an issue. With Girl's wrestling just a week ago getting an official NCAA Championship it is still ground level to start programs.
It is a great sport and those that talk shite obviously have never done or been around the sport. Awesome for football players and anyone with an interest in MMA knows how badass wrestlers are.

Title IX

Do you know specifics about this? I looked up SEC wresting history and came across the following article:

LINK

It doesn't say anything about Title IX so I don't know how Title IX actually affected SEC wrestling.

I would love to see the SEC bring wrestling back. It is a great sport and I would think pretty low cost in comparison to other sports.
