Mizzou should jump on a chance to leave the SEC if UNC/NCST become available.

Well, the SEC was our second choice...
The football is great but the culture in the South sucks and its history is tainted with cultural and societal black marks. Its a poor region that is generally under educated and underdeveloped.
Missouri should jump at any opportunity to align itself with states and universities that are more on its level economically, culturally and academically.
Its not about competing or not competing in athletics. Its about being among peers and most all the southern states and universities are not peers to Missouri or The University of Missouri and many fall woefully short of meeting that status.
Mizzou should move to the Big 10 if the opportunity presents itself.

Missouri is the invisible state. Nobody ever heard of it until it got in the SEC.

Our meth game would dramatically decrease with the loss of Mizzou. That being said, we still have the alma mater of Ryan Mallet to compete with crystal meth nation so I'm fine with y'all leaving.

TBH- it wouldn't break my heart to leave either but this thread is just silly. I'm sure there's an equal amount of retards in Mizzou as there are in Louisiana.

This is really dumb. As populations shift south and away from states like Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan and Illinois, the SEC schools will get better and better (maybe not Ole Miss).
Mizzou wants to be a part of that.
