Mizzou will be lucky if Odom will take the job at this point.
If the players got the President of the U fired, how is a prospective coach not to think they wouldn't get him fired too, if they didn't like him right off the bat.

Herman was never going to Missouri or South Carolina with openings like USC, UGA, VaTech, and Miami open.
Would be a strong hire if he actually ends up in Athens.

I don't think he's a fit at USCw. VT is already filled. He said not to USCe.

We still have a good connection to Herman.
We won't know anything until after the AAC Championship. My feeling is Mizzou's next coach plays in that game.

probably, it's one way to go.. the other way is a coach like Kelly, who may or may not want to come back to NCAA ball, but would likely only do it at a place like UGA, where it more or less recruits itself.

3-5 year rebuild, have fun with that, I'll enjoy our top 10 defense next year.
What coach would touch that a program where the coach quits in the middle of the season, that's the biggest "get the stink off of me" move ever.
