It is odd that the nub would come here to flame Mizzou -- especially since Nebraska got owned in their bowl game against an SEC team.
But, I gotta say, this makes me wonder WTF Slive was smoking when he thought Mizzou was a good fit for the SEC:

Do Mizzou fans honestly believe they are equal in terms of basketball and football? Historically or currently? Bc yes you have us in bball now obviously but you will never match unless you win the tourney. And still if sombody wants to post stats be my guest. I'd be surprised if Mizzou has had half the success as Arkansas has in the sport. And football isn't really comparable. You played in a far inferior league and never won anything. Arkansas playing the the SEC CG is far more than Mizzou has accomplished in football. You whipped us in the Cotton Bowl (don't kid yourselves, it was your superbowl) after we fired a coach and half our players had their bags packed for the NFL. That was probably your best season in 50 years and it was the Cotton Bowl, before the bowl was what it is now. I'm not saying Arkansas is leaps and bounds above Mizzou in the sports but it's clearly different. It's like me saying Arkansas is equal to LSU in football, orto Kentucky in basketball.

You are right. Arky has more historical accomplishments than Mizzou. We have had some success lately and are trying our damndest to put the past behind. Joining the SEC is part of that push to get better.

We at Mizzou love having the bitter jealousy and hate rain down - means we are relvant. I am so glad leaving the B12 for the SEC caused so much hate and anger amongst even those who left before us. Notice there was no bitterness when you left? Cause you fricking don't matter.
