You can also say the same for Utah, Nebraska, Colorado, and WVU. All of them had it rough the first years in a new conference.

You forgot TCU.

Everyone knows that life in Missouri = sports

Except when you are actually supposed to go to the games. Then sports are for bottom feeders

True story.

We weren't invited for attendance figures.

Makes sense. Go sit at home and watch your teams lose on TV. That's what you were added for

Glad we are on the same page

My memory may be faulty but irc, once the ESPN/Longhorn Network Deal was announced everybody in the Big 12 got their panties in a wad and started kicking up a fuss about leaving. Mizzou called the B1G and Jim Delany put them on hold while he waited for a better option to arise. The better option turned out to be Nebraska and Mizzou had to remain in Bevo's shadow for another year until aTm decided to bolt for the SEC and Mizzou tagged along because they had no where else to go

I may have left out some details but that's how I recall things went down. It's not a knock on Mizzou and yall seem like really nice people who were not as prepared for the SEC as was initially believed.

Dude... I hope that relieved you so you can stop being such a little hard on.

Not many schools can fit into multiple conferences. Mizzou fits in 3 of the 5 major conferences, if you include the ACC. That ain't too bad man. Can't blame Big10 for taking Nebraska, they're a national football brand. Most of the MU fanbase (besides Mizzoux, who is from Chicago) is more than happy that we avoided the rust belt.

I'm out. You can have this. I wouldn't want anyone to start claiming I give a frick about Mizzou sports, either. Apparently its not a very popular thing to do.

Of course not...you were invited because of your nationally renowned propaganda...I mean JOURNALISM department.

Our alumni tend to be successful. Nearest metro area is 125 miles away. Makes attendance tough.

If all our grads were Wal Mart greeters, chicken tenders, pig feeders, and receptionists like your grads our attendance would likely be higher.

Idk man, life in Missouri this weekend was a long trial ride, a stop at a micro brew house, a bon fire, and some music.

A&M's nearest metro area is Houston, which is the same distance. That's an epic fail on your part.

If that's the case, it's another reason the SEC sucks. We have a good journalism school so the Mizzou bias doesn't show.

Journalism's dead anyways.

Woah, woah, woah....

You guys are saying that the reason your fanbase is so apathetic bout Mizzou sports is because of all of the other fine sporting options in Missouri.

Now its because you're above college sports?

Damn, no wonder Porker shreds you punks so frequently and with such ease. Kinda fun to watch. If you could see it from this side, you wouldn't need Mizzou sports, either.

K.

One thing about Mizzou is that we don't have a big BANDWAGON fan base in Missouri. People tend to forget about that. Hell all of Arkansas loves the HOGS and most never even attended a class, paid tuition, etc. The same can go for a lot of SEC schools with the exception of Vandy.

Then lets add in the academic side and law breaking. You hardly ever here about athletes at Mizzou getting hooked up with grades, kicked off the team, etc. MU will not put up with a lot of that negative crap. And you have to have a 2.5 to transfer, a lot of schools let you transfer with a 2.0.

I can remember Freddie Coleman asking how do people with LOW wonderlic scores get into these flagship schools. He even said something about the NCAA should look into that crap. People are scoring poorly on easy, simple tests, how are they passing REAL college level courses. When is the last time you heard of a Mizzou player scoring 4-10 on a wonderlic test

Any answer to the fact that Missouri is a bigger school in a bigger state yet is an embarrassment compared to little ole Arkysaw?

The last decade rendered our "bandwagon" fan base virtually extinct.

Didn't that chick in the Missouri commercial say something about "THE BIGGEST FRESHMAN CLASS IN OUR HISTORY"?

Also, 50,000 students < 87,000 seats. The extra 37,000+ have to come from somewhere.

Too bad you couldn't work in your alma mater. Assuming you went there, since another of your posters is going on about how all SEC schools are bandwagons except MU/UM
