We were lost for what seemed 40 years in the wilderness. Pitt Boss has done wonders with what he inherited! Glad it turned out the way it did.

Heck, I wanted Leach, never heard of drink and all I knew about Sam was he used to be our oline coach. I thought KIffin was a job hopper so I wasn’t interested but he seems to have proven me wrong.
Ole miss, MSU and us did well.

I knew the minute that I was told his asking price, it wasn't going to happen....
He has way too many odd and frustrating losses... and is a very odd duck. I love his personality, but dang! Wouldn't work long with many of our big money folks.
He has already had to attend some sensitivity training at Miss State

I will be curious as to the betting line on the kstate game.
We might have better Jimmy and Joes in this situation. They have the better coach IMO-at least as of now. Drink has some growing up to do, but I think he gets there.

Leach would be a terrible fit at Arkansas. He is funny to an extend then loses a game he shouldn't have lost then those sound bits get old quick. Also the big whigs wouldn't have liked his quirky personality.

So just so I understand this, Year 2 is the ultimate determinative factor on whether or not you have the right guy as head coach. All conclusions should be made at the end of Year 2.
Thank god we didn’t decide we knew everything at the end of year 1 because Drink was 5-5 and Pittman was 3-7. Holy shite!!! Who would jump to ridiculous conclusions after only ONE year. Everyone knows a coach’s COMPLETE body of work should encompass TWO seasons, not one and certainly not THREE!!!!
