Yes. I'll agree with you there, too.

I don't know. Official Commonwealth Capacity is 67,606, but in 2007, 2008, and 2009 attendance was in the 70k's for just about every game.

eta: The record is 71k.

No way Mizzou has only 6,000 less than Arkansas. Just look at the photos.

Yea. Some real fuzzy math going on, and like was mentioned, it probably has to do with the grassy area.

when we finish this off in a few years...

We will be over 80,000. You can't tell me looking at these 3 stadiums Missouri is even close to Kentucky much less Arkansas.

Vaught-Hemingway at 60k looks maybe even bigger than Farout now that I compare them.

They probably call the grass standing room only and claim they can cram 15k people in there or something. There is no way there are 70k actual seats in that stadium though.

Yea. They're doing it wrong if they ever want to appear to have decent attendance by % capacity.

Their stadium reminds me of a shitty version of Ole Miss' already shitty stadium. Mizzou was added for eyeballs and no other reasons and was a huge mistake.

Faurot field has hit 70+thousand on more than one ocassion. Mizzou counts turnstyle, not tickets sold like some schools. Hill tickets are cheap and you will see people sitting on the rocks that form the big M.

Keep in mind that most stadiums are not SEC size. Rumor has it we will upgrade but I guess it depends on contributions. I've never been to an SEC stadium so I can't address how it compares to the stadiums you've mentioned.

No offense, but IF it really does seat 70k, you have no business expanding as y'all had an average of 10k empty seats last year. A good season at that.

Faurot doesn't seat 71,004, but it can fit that many.

The biggest problem with Faurot is that it is far from the field since there used be a full track around it. So it is spaced out more than most SEC stadiums.

And I thought Vaught-Hemingway was an embarrassment to the SEC.

At least you guys don't have any "Co-Divisional Champions" banners hanging. Or any bullshite national championship banners, for that matter.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to traveling to Columbia one day, pretending to have a super heavy accent, and stealing all the women.

Which reminds me...at least Mizzou brought women. Looking at you, A&M.

It looks nowhere near that big in person. The one time I saw it....it looked like it only sat like 50,000 or so. Though the pressbox/suites are really nice. Besides that, the stadium is pretty bland.

I want to say the actual in the butt seating is around 63,000 or so.

The rest is standing room only space above the rock M and sitting on the grass around the rock M as well as on the rocks.

EDIT: According to Wikipedia it says 62,023. That may or may not be accurate, but it is close.

Let's pick the worst possible angle from Faurot!

NM I see it has been covered.
