I hate to think someone was trying to cash in on his soon to be piles of money by blackmailing him and forced him to come out. It takes a lot of courage for him to take his life and story into his own hands and let the world know who he loves has no impact on how he plays football.
And to all the "it's disgusting and wrong" assholes, he doesn't want to kiss you, he doesn't want to convert you, he doesn't want to break up your marriage, he just wants to be able to go on a date and love who he wants WITHOUT it becoming fricking breaking news on ESPN.
I, for one, don't think that's unreasonable or some boogie man "liberal agenda".
All you fools grossed out by gay guys are the last ones that have to worry - they wouldn't look twice at your fat, fashion challenged, redneck asses.
