Amazing what a few degrees can do. I encourage it!

I have my degree.

I am curious as to why your degree discusses things of this nature

Excuse us for not fully understanding the nuances of which parts of the bible can be ignored.

No problem. Probably better to tone down the snarky attitude though when discussing something you don't fully understand. Googling talking points isn't plowing any new ground or uncovering questions that haven't been asked and answered.

Yeah.. the NYT reporting on it is a huge issue for them. Or better yet, Stanford University, OR MAYBE John Hopkins. Oh wait. I forgot the good professors at Harvard.

It's seriously mind blowing how many people don't even know what's going on around them!

Why do Christians try to use the bible to argue with non-believers on topics of moral ground?

Why does the APA talk about it? Why does John Hopkins? Why does the Head of that deparment speak at B4U-Act who pushing for it to be labeled a sexual orientation?

Now, I totally disagree with them. What amazes me is the number of people in this thread that do not!

I have access to journals. Maybe you do to.

I don't know. That isn't happening here, fwiw.

ETA; At least not with me. I haven't read even 1/10th of the thread, so it may be happening.

I know my conversation was in reference to whether or not homosexuality was a sin or not and what the implications of that are under Christianity. Can't speak for others.

Really? I live and work in the middle of christians everywhere. Most of my friends are. Most of my family is. No problems whatsoever.

I'm only intolerant of intolerance.

Its athiests who always preemptively bring this stuff up. Christians are simply defending their beliefs.

Why act like a senile idiot who is attempting to drag a topic that has no place in this discussion right in the fricking middle of it? Oh wait, you aren't acting. My bad.
