Game aside, I can't think of a worse hand dealt to a traveling team than what Mizzou is about to face. Kamario and Co with back to back road wins coming back to a sold out Davis Wade at night with energy that probably hasn't been matched in years outside of an Egg Bowl. That place is going to be bonkers.

Too many unknowns with Mizzou right now to be confident in a win on the road against a much improved team.
One week the special teams is clown bus city, the next they played flawless.
Same with QB play. Simmons can make all the throws but they need him to find a rhythm early and that will be a challenge on the road with a hyped crowd.
My two hopes are that there’s enough tape on Kamario to at least slow down the offense, and that our defensive line continues to emerge and create a lot of pressure on him.
I think that the Troy game was a wake up call from a discipline perspective. If Drink and co can coach em up it should be a back and forth game. If not, it could get ugly early on. We need to steal this on the road because the only almost guarantee left on the schedule is Arkansas.

I see State winning by 10+...hope I'm wrong. In order to win Mizzou needs an early turnover to lower the crowd noise and build some momentum.

Starkville can get pretty intense when State gets going. It will be interesting to see how Mizzou handles that noise. You can’t simulate that. Nothing prepares you for that many cowbells at the same time

I thought Mizzou looked great against Kansas. They took the game off Saturday I'm sure.
