I'm basing my opinion on the attitude and chip on the shoulder of a female head basketball coach who lost the last time she played the snowflakes.
Go back and watch that game at Mizzou then come back and comment.
That game was allowed to get out of hand.
First of all they had the same refs that they had a year before which let the game get out of hand ... they are poor excuses for SEC officials.
A'ja Wilson, who has braces, is the number one player in the country ... had two fouls called on her in the first three minutes of the game. She was intentionally elbowed in the mouth ... badly bloodied, and had to be taken out of the game.
We had another player yanked backwards (all of this is on video and has been roundly viewed by everyone) in an attempt to throw her (our player) to the ground. It was blatant and it also wasn't called.
We had another player who was intentionally kneed in the thigh causing a deep bone bruise and forcing her to miss games ... and that was not called.
We had four of our players foul out of the game early ... on a lot of really questionable calls. Mizzou had none foul out if I remember correctly.
Dawn finally had enough, was outraged at the lopsided way the game was being called ... and the ESPN announcers agreed it was being horribly officiated. They were so outraged they commented on it after the game and on twitter actually.
Dawn eventually received two technical fouls and was tossed from the game ... and their fans shouted some pretty ugly things at her anout her looks as she was leaving the court ... she just smiled and waved at them and nothing more was said about things their fans said and did.
She had every right to have issues with the refs afterwards, to want her players protected, etc.

Every coach shows emotion in a game...sooooo. I can only imagine what you would say if she was white. And you kept saying the head coach was a he.

On Wednesday afternoon, South Carolina athletics director Ray Tanner joined 107.5 The Game for the Halftime Show with Jay Phillips and Tommy Moody.
Tanner was previously scheduled to join the show, but the appearance followed comments made by Missouri athletics director Jim Sterk, who had some unsettling things to say about South Carolina women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley.
“It was really kind of unhealthy, if you will. We had, you know, players spit on and called the ‘N-word,’ and things like that,” Sterk said, during an appearance on a local radio show in Missouri.
“I mean it was not a good environment and unfortunately I think, coach Staley promoted that kind of atmosphere, and it’s unfortunate that she felt she had to do that.”
Tanner spoke with Sterk on Tuesday night around 6 p.m. EST, but they did not discuss what Sterk said on the radio.
“I was unaware that he had an appearance on the radio,” Tanner said.
He added, “I won’t give you any information, but I have spoken to commissioner [Greg] Sankey and I’ve spoken others at the SEC office. It’s not an issue anybody is excited about dealing with, that comes to attention in women’s basketball. That’s where it is.
“I can’t share more than that with you. It’s being addressed. There’s conversation ongoing about things that have been said and where we are. And, hopefully, we’ll get back to basketball real soon.”
Tanner didn’t want to get into the specifics about what Sterk said during his radio spot.
“It’s a great environment for women’s basketball, so I think that it’s obvious that we would disagree with some of the comments that were made about our environment and maybe some comments that were directed at oach Staley are beyond the understanding for me,” Tanner said. “It goes without saying, what she has done outside of basketball speaks for itself.
“Her involvement in this community, her personal foundation. She lives the talk. She’s not just a coach that gets out front once in a while. That is her lifestyle. We all know who she is. We certainly know what she stands for and we’re extremely proud of what she’s done her, so comments that were made, we don’t understand that and only Jim Sterk can explain his reasoning.”
After South Carolina and Missouri played on Sunday night in Columbia, Tiger coach Robin Pingeton was asked about allegations that Gamecock fans spat on her players.
On Tuesday, Tanner released a statement, after concluding an investigation. He doubled down on that statement while on 107.5 The Game.
South Carolina won the game, 64-54, but it wasn’t without incident.

It was quite a battle between South Carolina and Missouri in women’s basketball on Sunday, with a fight breaking out between the two teamsand the allegations of fans spitting on and yelling slurs at Tigers players while they left the floor after the 64-54 Gamecocks victory.
South Carolina athletic director Ray Tanner, after an investigation of the incidents and a full review, issued a statement on Tuesday saying that there was nothing that they could confirm of the allegations.
“The commitment to a secure environment for everyone at our home games, including fans, student-athletes, coaches and staff from the home and visiting teams is of the utmost importance. In anticipation of this rivalry game, the athletics department provided security for the Missouri basketball team, above its standard operating procedure. Upon hearing the accusations regarding our crowd’s behavior towards the Missouri team, the athletics department conducted a review of our operations from the game, including interviews with staff and security personnel. In this review, we received no confirmation of the alleged behavior directed at the visiting team by fans at the game.”
After the game, Missouri coach Robin Pingeton commented on the events that took place during the game.
“I was really disappointed really disappointed with some things that transpired,” Pingeton said. “There’s no place in our game for that. Fans have to be better all around. Our side, their side.”
