Doubtful.

Martin may get you there, but it won't be this year. It'll take a while.

Mizzou playing in a title game in football is not comparable to Duke playing in a title game in football.

Congrats on a solid season, Cocky.

Mizzou has been to a few conference title games and won far more conference titles (15) than the (2) conference titles in their entire South Carolina history. In fact, Duke has won 7 ACC titles and 17 total in their history.

South Carolina fans, you have 2 Conference titles to Mizzou's 15 and Dukes 17. Think about that for a minute

Not saying it would have made that big of a difference, but before joining the SEC, we were an independent and most likely would have won several ACC titles if we would have stayed. So not winning confrence titles as an independent or in the SEC isn't the worse thing in the world. However, not winning the SEC by now is somewhat of a failure.

Do you really care about anything that happened before 1970? I sure as hell don't.

Meh, trying to take a jab at Mizzou in this manner was stupid because Mizzou is historically superior to South Carolina and its not even really debatable.

I don't think the OP was flaming Mizzou's history. Everybody is surprised Mizzou went from a losing season with 2 SEC wins to ATL in one year.

And for the life of me I don't understand why people don't understand its impossible to win conference titles when you're independent.

One of your fans makes lame troll. Troll gets called out with facts. Cock fans deflect.

Seems like a pattern the last few weeks.

I'm not deflecting. I genuinely don't care about conference championships before I was born. We were independent for a long time and not all conferences are created equal.

If USC would have been in the sunbelt instead of independent and would have won 15 conference titles after 1970, would you still consider Mizzou a better program?

Its impossible to win a conference title regardless when your best "independent" season's result in an 8-4 records.

One 10 win season from 1971-1991, next best was a couple of 8-4 seasons.

:duuno:

Maybe your fans shouldnt flame when the responses are so easy.

No one was flaming mizzou big guy.
And its amazing that mizzou loves to downplay USC's history as if its never been done before only to later compare their program to ours. If you're so much better than USC maybe y'all should stop bragging about stuff we haven't done, go talk to Georgia or Florida fans.

But, why are y'all 0-2 against us since joining the SEC? If mizzou is a better program you'd think they'd be able to beat us...
