first of all wasn't your schedule last year a big 12 schedule. so yeah infinitely easier, yet you didn't make the playoffs.
It's our turn for an easy schedule. back in the covid season we caught the hardest one coming off of a late coaching change.

oklahoma has a good defense that forces a lot of turnovers. their path to victory in conference games is hoping they force enough turnovers that result in enough points to eke out wins
our offense has a ton of problems right now. we are still 19th in total offense and 32nd in scoring. we have the pieces to field a competent offense. i dont think sooners can say the same about their offense

The offense is definitely clunky.
But we have the bye week to clean it up. Our pass blocking not being as good as last season is probably just a given, but it should get better than what it has been as they gel. Tollison and Membou have been much improved and they were already good and great respectively. And run blocking has not been a problem at all but it could still get better. And Noel can get it done even if they don't block well for him every play.
I think most reasonable fans are confident that our offensive minded head coach and kirby moore who is a great OC will figure something out.
Drink has been alluding to the fact that the offense bought into the hype about themselves too much and aren't practicing as best as they could and I trust they'll get that corrected as well.

Yes, great game.
Believe it or not, I tend to root for OU when they are not playing MU. I go back to the Big 8 days. Had dinner the night before a game at the Hayden House in Columbia and watched Barry Switzer and Woody stumble out to the their cars after spending the evening in the bar.
