I just have a hard time believing Relf is anything to be scared about, especially with LSU's defense

that was Relf's 4th college start

Plus, aren't they losing some good talent on their lines?

of the 9 starters on the OL and DL- we return 6 guys...and 8 guys that have actually started.

State will go 9-3 in 2011...losses to LSU, Bammer, and UPig...

But watch the frick out if we pull it off vs LSU

This is the best team we have had since 1999, and this one is much better offensively than the 99 team that won 10 games

Coonass, you see State being good enough to where NO ONE upsets them, and they might beat LSU?

Mullen deserves 5 mill. a year if he pulls that off

you have no idea dude, i live a mile from the stadium and have only missed a couple of home games since i've been in college. I will admit i usually don't go to little rock because we send a team we should beat every year and a team we are pretty much starting to beat consistently.

So beating Ole Piss two years in a row isn't saying anything

What about beating LSU two out of the last three and only losing one game by one touchdown in Baton Rouge while having a rebuilding year?

Wow. So money or laziness have no ties, but despite the thrilling games we've had the past five years, you are just too confident when LSU rolls in?

You've beat Lsu twice in LR in 10 years.

I'm already stalking the MSU ticket office for tickets to this game. That's going to be the most anticipated contest at Starkville in the last 10 years. You're going to have a highly motivated Bully team and if State can win that game...like you said..watch out.

My question is will Steve Robertson (RoseBowl) make another preseason prediction?

Those guys over at GenesPage make a killing by just misleading State fans, taking part in accusations against Ole Miss, and whining to their subscribers when they get in hot water for being wrong.

state can be a better team than last year and would still have a rough time going 8-4 with the schedule

8 or 9 wins this year imo and a solid fourth place finish in the west.

he showed this against a first year D coordinator who hasn't coached an SEC game yet.....i think the rest of us will hold off until we see him do it against someone who matters.

we don't measure our years success by beating lsu in LR we measure our season on overall success and program direction......you guys are all hyped up because you beat an ole miss team that couldn't beat Jax st.

We were 8-4 last year, and the core of our team was Freshman and Soph's...This year the core will be Soph's and Jr's...we will only start 6-7 Sr's this Fall

Hell, we will be better in 2012 than we will be this Fall- then there will be some dropoff

We simply will be a better football in 2011 with 9 starters returning on offense, and 8 on defense. I wont be surprised if we drop the Georgia game and maybe end up 8-4, but thats worst case scenario

That's funny considering the stupid flagship bullshite popped up after the LSU game. Face it, your fanbase has and always will want to measure up to LSU.

We returned 17 starters going into 2009. We weren't near as good as we were in the previous year, although our weak OOC made our record the same. Sometimes it doesn't work out like that.
