to our 61 and yet we still out gained them by 2 yards, 488-486. That's is just an insane amount of plays.
It may not have been pretty and they may have looked bad at times but I have to give our defense minor props for being on the field for 100 plays and still having enough in the tank to come up with the big stand in the second OT.

We had a hell of a time getting our defense off the field.

MSU did a hell of job controlling the ball.

did I not tell you?
We just dont have enough weapons yet...the better team won- but it was close as I said it would be...
I didnt waste 13 years of my life as a football coach for nothing

I know it felt like the had the ball all game but damn I didn't realize it was 100 plays. They had 70 rushing attempts. That's 9 more plays than we had the entire game.

I'm extremely impressed with Mullen. If he stays at MSU for awhile then you guys are going to be very, very dangerous in the future.

Hell, I'm just glad we gain some yards on offense these days. It would've took one of Crooms teams 4 damn games to come up with those numbers, maybe five.

He's getting a 800K raise at season's end
we are enlarging the stadium
He has alot of say-so on the future of the program
He and his family love Starkville
He will leave at some point- but it's going to take a top 15 type school to pull him away- we can pay him too well and he has too much power...he will only leave to go somewhere he thinks can win a BCS title easier...
Georgia, Penn St...maybe Michigan are the only threats I see next year

Incredible, Ballard and Relf might not have anything left in the tank.

It will be interesting to see who Penn State gets.

SEC is starting to look more and more like the PAC10 where 35+ points is the norm rather than the exception. Sucks actually.
